a little insight on some of the ice teas.

Green Tea is known for its healthful properties. However coca-cola represents and expresses the sugary soft drinks. well comparing ingredients with Lipton Green Tea with a Coke, to my amazement are almost the same.

Coca-cola Classic

Lipton Green Tea with Citrus

Green Tea

Phosphoric acid
Sodium benzoate
Potassium sorbate
Calcium disodium edta
Caramel color

Soo for any of you tea lovers, question:

Is it not possible to drink anything without copious quantities of sweeteners?
 
note to add i do every once in a while have some green tea, but i heat it myself using only extract green tea packets.

Reasons Why? (If Green Tea By Itself)

-- Drinking a cup of tea a few times a day to absorb antioxidants and other healthful plant compounds. In green-tea drinking cultures, the usual amount is three cups per day.

-- Allow tea to steep for three to five minutes to bring out its catechins.

-- The best way to get the catechins and other flavonoids in tea is to drink it freshly brewed. Decaffeinated, bottled ready-to-drink tea preparations, and instant teas have less of these compounds.

-- Tea can impede the absorption of iron from fruits and vegetables. Adding lemon or milk or drinking tea between meals will counteract this problem.
