Hey fellas,
Recently ive been doing alot of study on "IF" or intermittent fasting, and the more i look into it the more it makes sense as a means of maintaining lean mass and lossing bf% plus the overall benefit of not having to eat 6 meals a day . Anyway i was wondering if any of u guys had tryed it . Ill b giving it a whirl soon basically fasting from 7pm -11am everyday and gettin in all my calories beetween 12 and 7 . If ur unfamiliar with the term check it out on google theirs limited studys but the ones that are around make alot of sense .

From what I have read, people on IF, once adjusted to the diet, dont experience hunger like you would expect

I use an IF style of eating that I enjoy and see results from. When you swich to lower meal frequency or start IF, it will take a couple of weeks for grehlin levels to become entrained to your new eating times. After that happens, hunger during the fast subsides. It's nice to be able to feel completely full nearly all day on a caloric deficit.

EC or just caffeine helps to blunt hunger.

i've tried IF fasting for a couple months, i personally just didn't function well during the fasted periods and i would find myself fixating on thoughts of food during the last hours of the fast

Ill have to do some research......are you using any supps to combat the hunger?
HAHAHAHA, supps to combat hunger . u cant be srs. so far im not even hungry in the fasted state i eat that much in my fed state . its working well its only been a few days but im doing fine

I've only used IF during a cut, so I was in an overall caloric deficit. Even then, I only feel slightly hungry in hour 16 of the fast, just prior to the first meal of the day.

Tried it as the Warrior Diet. Seems to be largely the same, but I eat dinner later so my fast was 9pm till dinner the next day (around 7pm). I did eat some food starting around 12pm though (strictly berries or a small cup of yogurt).

I found it leaned me out like crazy, but was also shedding muscle and size. I think I was having trouble getting enough calories in during the eating phase. I might try it again will a longer refeed.

BCAA's during the fasting period will help maintain muscle mass and keep hunger to a minimum.

yepp, well im still gettin in all my cals in 6 hours, so basically im stuffed with food. Its only day 4 but i can already see that my body is responding . im waking up feeling great were as before most of the time i would wake up feeling like shit beibng that i had steak/veggies/cottage cheese for dinner . I think the body has a hard time processing food whilst ur asleep , supp companys want u to buy into all of that shit ! wah wah ull go catabolic if u dont have a constant supply of this n that . i say bullshit if anything food blunts natural HGH secretion . anyway will report back in a while

i was thinking about doing this on my first cycle of test-e 350 ive already begun fasting to get my bf down and it is possible to eat 3000-3500 calories in a 4-6 hour time frame so what are your thoughts?

It certainly is possible. However, I wouldn't change too many variables in you life while on your first cycle. Get you diet nailed down so you know what it takes to gain or lose fat so you have a good operating baseline diet pre-cycle. Then when you add the variable of AAS in the mix, you can adjust calorie intake as necessary to make the most of you altered hormonal balance. If you're going to spend the money, effort, and assume the risks of AAS, you really should know exactly how your body already responds to food intake.
