Hi all I'm in desperate need of help I have 9 2mg ipam and 2 10 mg dac water. I want to put 2 mg water into the ipam I think that means I need to inset 2 full syringes worth 2ml.

I want to start off on 100 mcg 2 times a day and work up to 200 2 times a day. What is a 100 mcg in my syringe. my insulin syringe goes up 10 20 30 and so on to 100. And has five marks inbetween 10 five marks 20 five marks 30 five marks etc.

First time I've done this guys so wana make sure I get some expert help.

Thanks again for your guidance, I really appreciate it.

Well, if you reconstitute with 2ml, that gives you 1000mcg per milliliter. As you want 100mcg, you would simply divide that milliliter by ten; meaning that you would draw to the "10" mark on the syringe.

Edit: To explain the numbers, 1mg = 1000mcg. Most insulin syringes while are in units are also equivalent to tenths of a milliliter for each major gradient (100 units per mL). 2mg/2ml = 1mg per milliliter.

Hope that makes sense. :)
