In Pain - Need Help

I am a competitive female bodybuilder training for a show. I have been experiencing delt/bicep pain in both shoulders (more prevalent in left) constantly...especially aggravated by sleeping, lateral raises and upright rows. The only thing that seems to help is massage. And that only lasts until I go to sleep again. For months I have been icing, moist heat, ibuprofren, tens unit treatment, cortisone shots (3), etc. An MRI six months ago revealed a slight or partial muscle tear in rear right delt. After resting upper body for months, I was finally able to lift heavy again. Now I am in constant pain. I don't think it's an injury because I can still lift but it seems like some type of muscle/ligament/tendon soreness. Any input would be so GREATLY appreciated. I need to figure out a way to get out of pain and adequately prepare to compete. I am running out of time.... please help!

have you tried the peptide TB500 or thymosin beta 4 its a complex amino profile that is becoming very popular and is shown to improve healing greatly and also acts as an anti inflamitory. Iv seen people with tendonitis, tennis elbow, tendon injuries all completely gone along with the pain, some asmatics have reported easier breathing and improved chest aswell.
this may be the key to ensuring your ok for the comp and im sure it may help you, however permenenant healing would probably require time off in combination wuth the peptide as if the injury is aggitated it wil likley not heal entirely, but im sure this would help you for the comp and clear or reduce the pain your feeling.
iv seen women using it aswell and i think its safe for females hopefully may help, have a read into it, it improves healing characteristics ten fold thro a multitude of ways.

Nick is right. That would be my suggestion. Not sure the dosing for women on it but it is generally just a once a week injection sub-q for 4-6 weeks and then a once a month maintenance shot after that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I will definitely give both a try if I can take together or do a little more research to see which would be best for me to take alone at this time.

Thanks for the acknowledgement and for taking the time to give me additional info. I think it is definitely worth a try!

TB500 & thymosin beta4 are both the same thing. You can find this peptide through sponsors right here on ology.

That's great news! So now I just have to figure out the dosage.

I am not sure what the dosage for women is but I am sure you can find it online somewhere. I know men are taking anywhere from 2mg-5mg per week for 6weeks. Then after that, they are just doing once a month injections and have had great results. Remember you don't need to shoot it every day, just once per week and make sure you order some Bac water with it to mix it. Good luck!

Not a supplement, so many not what you're looking for, but I found that rotator cuff band work helped my shoulders tons. Had similar issue with sleeping and such, and a concerted effort in focusing on my RC health really helped.

dont think the female dosage differs that greatly from males 2-4mg a week should be good.
When running it you do 1-6 weeks of weekly injections called the loading phase, month is most popular and then switch to the maintenance dosage, of of one injection per month, however close freinds of mine have realised the injections are better spaced fro best results so do as follows:
wks 1-4: 2-4mg twice a week on mon/thursday (loading phase)
wks 5+ 2-4mg twice a month (maintenance phase)

Just a tip but by spacing them, theyre more effective than the one shit a week/month method. Use bac water for mixing and slin needles for injection.
good luck hope it goes well for you...

deff go the peptide route!.. there are a few peptides out there that are well known for healing, some newer and with less data to back it up then others! Do some research on your own and decide which one.. you think suits you best
