Injectable ATP?

I've come across a few injectable animal products that are designed for "performance enhancement" that contain Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) either as the sole ingredient or one of the main ingredients. Wouldn't this be quite beneficial to an athlete?

are you refering to something like injectable creatine? If yes, well its been around for a while now but mostly in europe. Athletes have been using it for a while now but no studies are around for it. Very little info.

it doesnt sound logical. the body uses so much atp so fast that i just cant see it actually being beneficial. maybe it could somehow work if you shot up right before you worked out but it would probably only give you more energy to lift and not actually build muscle.

Actually I recently gave this issue alot of thought because I am using DNP now. One of the negative sides to DNP is that it quickly depletes your ATP stores. I was considering using it during a DNP cycle to boost my energy levels. I don't know if using it would cause me to lose less body fat while on DNP though.

I do know someone from another board who is considered somewhat of an "expert" on DNP. I'll have to ask him what he thinks.

no , dnp doesnt quickly deplete atp, it stops/greatly slows down ATP from being made. ive hear that it slows it by 40-60%. also, i remember reading that if humans didnt have the advanced atp generating systems (ie faster than glycolysis and fermentation) then they would have to eat their bodyweight in atp each day. it was something real high like that.
