Injected into a blood vessel? Here's what I wanna know...

I've never dumped a full syringe into a vein, but I'm sure it will happen some day. I rarely aspirate anymore, either. I know some people freak out and think it will kill them, and because of that, the net is full of those questions, and a Google search just returns the same old stuff that surely some of those people could have read instead of asking. But MY question is this: Say...worst case scenario, I inject a full syringe directly into a vein...Once I get through the nastiness of that...is that gear wasted? I mean, if there's crap coming outta my lungs, am I getting the dose I wanted? Surely not! Or is it just alcohol that enters your lungs? Is the actual gear doing the same thing as it would by IM? How does the body react to all that gear entering the bloodstream at once? Is less of it useable? IOr does your testosterone level get a spike and then fall off faster than if it were IM.
But mostly...Is the gear wasted and should I pin again. I'm sure I'd never inject a full syringe directly into a vein. I guess I'd feel that there was less resistance. But still...like I said...worst case scenario.

wasted?
dude it happends. dont pin again. i got a cough last time i pinned. sometimes you nick a vein and it happens. but i always rec to aspirate

I get the question, but have one of my own...WHY don't you aspirate? It only takes a second, and if done, makes the answer a moot point! That's like saying I know when I'm hammering nails I shouldn't haul off and smack myself in the head with the hammer, but what will happen if I do??? It's irrelevant, just DON'T do it! If you continue to throw caution to the wind and inject w/o aspirating, sooner or later your luck will run out and you'll know immediately that you "screwed the pooch!" At this point, at the very least your lungs will be burning, you'll be coughing profusely and my guess is that the LAST thought to cross your mind will be "did I waste my shot?"
ALWAYS ASPIRATE ~An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

You very likely would die if you took 3mL of oil intravenously. Not so sure if wasting gear would be on your mind at that point.

Good thing that it is extremely improbable to do so on accident, and only a moron would "mainline" AAS. To the poster above, the odds of not only finding a vein that wouldn't collapse under the pressure of trying to inject, but that is in an IM area are really quite silly.

Yes, we can get AAS into a vein that we nick or happen to be passing through while performing an IM injection, but that amount of oil is trivial - and the reaction is quite temporary. Even the dreaded tren cough goes away soon enough.

Not saying you can't aspirate if it makes you feel better, but it truly isn't needed for our purposes. If you don't believe me, please look into the WHO /CDC/AMA guidelines, and you'll see that they have removed aspirations from IM protocols.

For the tl;dr crowd: don't try to inject AAS into a vein on purpose. It is not going to magically enter a vein while injecting into a muscle belly, and curling in the squat rack gives you herpes.

My .02c :)

Well, as the last 2 guys say...if people who give more IM injections in a day than we take in an entire cycle are advised not to aspirate, then why do it? Half the time the needle ends up a mile away from where it was when you aspirated. Quads are good, but pinning glutes, there's a whole lotta shakin going on
