I've been checking out this thread, doing some research on this subject.
Let me tell you my story...shooting EQ, and test E...started with delts...no probs, went to calves next because my quads were fried from a new leg routine...my one calf 24 hrs later started to hurt, swelled up, and then started getting a little red...went to the doc, said I had an infection, thought that since my delts had no probs, that my gear got tainted (I mixed it, so maybe I screwed up, my first time and all), re heated, re mixed shot other calf, same story..not as bad...so I tossed out the gear ordered new premixed...Pain and redness went away after a few days though, shot with new gear in the right quad, same story, pain redness, went away after a few days, shot left quad same thing, after 24 hrs, although not as bad, seems to be adjusting.
My take on my situation is that its normal, and the only other thing I can think of is that I might be a little agresive with the needle, got 25 gauge, and when asperating I do have to pull...seems like a little too much, and it take a little while to get 1.5 ccs in, so I think I am spending to much time on the needle end of things...thinking of switching up to a 23 gauge pin.Does anyone now if the legth of the needle could also be a factor, if it is not deep enough, could that also be a factor?
Peace
