I need some advice please.. I have a torn hamstring and was told by a friend that injecting steroids into the injury would speed up my recovery. Is this true?
If it is, do I need to inject it into the hamstring or will anywhere suffice as I am scared of hitting the sciatic nerve..
I'd really appreciate some feed back..
Thanks

No. Definitely DO NOT do this.

Ignore him and let it heal by the doctors orders.

The only things that could help with things like this are peptides IMO.

but it also delay healing
so your friend is very wrong !!
never do this

I've had a bad elbow tendon and was recommended Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength.

it's only been two weeks and see a huge improvement - and would try this for any tendon issues for sure.

You can find this in the vitamin section in most pharmacies - there are a lot of similar types of products and asked the pharmacist what she recommend - this was her highest recommendation.
