I will be moving overseas and i have this barely used insulin vial, so I wish to take it with me for later use.
is it possible to put my insulin in a check-in luggage? would there be a problem? if so, would they believe me if i tell them that im diabetic?

See I wonder about that. Like in my state you dont need a script for certain kinds of slin - the script is for the pins.

i honestly wouldn't worry about it... someone's gona see it and see that its insulin and not even give a fuck

i woudln't risk it..

and doesn't it have to stay cold? wouldn't it lose its value?

I think you are totally fine. TSA is not instructed to do drug enforcement for what is deemed individual use, no matter what it is, unless they want to be pricks and it is obviously something like heroin or marijuana. But I take all sorts of vials and syringes and pills with me on planes all the time, 2-3x a month (in my carry on luggage). Just put it in your toiletry mini-bag in your main suitcase, and either check it or even carry on. Insulin is especially no big deal....
