Is a restart possible in my case? 1-baller

Hey guys.

I am wondering if I was abit fast to jump on the TRT, LONG story short.
Testiclur cancer
Right Testicle removed
BEP x 3 "very rough chemotheraphy, known to ruin some patients male hormone levels"
Rnpla? surgery to remove tissue from where the testicle drops in the stomach.
--------

Hormones 6month past:

Testosterone, total, serum 260 (240-827)
Testosterone, free, serum 10.40 (8.70 - 55) // two months later 9.50
Estradiol E2, serum 40.62 (<39)

FSH 18.63 (1.40 - 18)
LH 9.17 (1.50 - 9.30)

These levels were taken while traveling, resting, enjoying life, but also being alittle stressed from journeying/chemo sides.
--------
Hormones 9month past: Proper diet and training in Denmark

Testosteron, SHGB/P 0.600
Testosteron/ P 15

FSH 21
LH 11

Question is if i would be able to continue increasing my testosteron levels if i continued without TRT?
Does the increased LH FSH go high since i only have 1 testicle?
Will it be possible to restart my ball, eventually make recover beyound with hcg/clomid getting me into higher T levels?

Pretty doubtful. It may be worth trying, just so you know you've exhausted every option, but I can't see you recovering to much better levels. It does happen though, but with only one ball, chemo & suppression from TRT it's not entirely likely.

Your brain really wants a baby though haha :p

hahaha! nice comment. FU

My semen volume was defently not bad under my natural recovery attempt. But energy, focus, sex drive, aggresion, muscle, dreams, emotions were just outright horrid! Wich was the main cause to check my hormones aswell as starting TRT, as I had a course i had to finish for my education wich was quite important. I feel awesome, abit tired from here to there but i might be overkilling myself with training.

Sometimes it just strikes my mind, if i was to quick on the trigger.. But all signs were there, and alot of us need TRT afterwards.

Wow, you are a textbook case that Megatron28 is always using to describe primary hypogonadal as your pituitary is SCREAMING at your testes to make more testosterone.

No, I don't think a restart will do you any good as restarts utilize drugs that increase your LH, which as you can see, is already sky high.

mothayuckers.

Guess it is, what it is. But Idd just assume that the numbers might play abit different with one testicle? But if it worked correctly the fitting testosteron level would decrease LH and FSH ? to normal values aswell ?

Believe it or not, men actually only need one testicle to not only procreate, but also to manage hormones. I suspect it was the chemo that did you in.

You are correct; if your testicle worked correctly, your LH and FSH would be lower as the body would sense the appropriate levels of estradiol/testosterone, and change pituitary output accordingly.

On the bright side, you at least know what is going on. I fried both my testes with long-term opiate use (several back-to-back surgeries), and didn't know what was wrong with me for ten years.

TRT may seem daunting at first, but once the dust settles, you'll be glad that you fixed things.

Good catch, can't believe that totally flew over my head hahah :)

hCG restart is still a possibility here, but yep.. imo not worth suffering through it.

Halfwit nailed it as usual. It just isn't in the cards for you. I won't go as far as saying there can't be some sort of miracle, but it isn't likely. Sorry... The good news though is that TRT is a very effective treatment.

Worst "side-effect" of me being on TRT is simply that my libido isent near as close to what it was pre-TRT.

Even with low t i was actually having a better feeling and libido? Will post bloods tomorrow, but any ideas on this. Like my testosteron has gone from 15 to 45nmol.... but worse sex drive? WUT.

Check estradiol. And are you using hCG?

I've experienced this frequently on cycle.. it's all to do with e2.

Tell us if u are using HCG

Odd... I'm on week 4 of TRT and I'm no more horny either. In fact my tool gets harder (I'm also on Cialis for BPH) but it has less "feeling". I just ordered my own labs from LabsMD (Thanks Megatron) and I'm checking my E2. I wanted to have my labs b/f my apt so I could ask you guys what to say and ask for.

Me: 100 mg/ week Test. Cyp.
Baby dose of Cialis for BPH
No HCG
No nothing else.

Jep. The sensation of sex is not the same!
1.Firstly the feeling of my dick is abit different.
2.Libido is not good...
3.The animalistic aggresion towards sex is not there, pre-trt i had this crazy wierd way of being when I was horny... Aint like that now.
4.I have boners every morning, but not fully erect. I get hard when having sex though

- So basicly my load, my ejaculation, and release feels different. Testicle has gone down about 50% in size!
I do not use HCG or Clomid, have not spoke to doc about it.. Just for your information, my testicular cancer markers are:
Alpha beta-protein
and B-hcg

Would the use of hcg interfeere with b-hcg and is it the same? I often fear that my c actually was caused by the use of HCG back in the past.

Posting bloods tonight. Not sure if E2 is included, if not I will ask doc to have it checked out. My libido/sexual desire is actually the only reason I am thinking about a restart in the future... If this can be fixed, and with my situation I would stay on TRT as it has given me back my life.

Reporting back in.

Me n me ol ladie been seeing each other again, and i still have it! I have instant hard-ons by just huggin or kissin, i have beastly thoughts and my sex-drive has been ramped up. The presence of a female has defently increased my semen volume even though my LH and FSH are 0, i believe this is a natural process of hormonal changes/pheramones.

- Sexual desire is there, It might always have been.. but my mindset might have changed after the cancer odeal.
- Libido is back
- Semen volume increased
- I can have sex one day, but seems like i need atleast one day inbetween to recover ejaculation volume and sensation.

So... I feel quite happy! As some mentioned, mentality goes along way hugh ?
Nevertheless still feel crap about my last boy being so small, but atleast everything is rockin!

BUT!!!!!! After finishing BEP x 3 Chemo wich is the usual way for testicular cancer. I encountered extreme fatigue, tiredness, drowzyness and brainfog. Starting TRT- It has increased my overall energy levels, my way of thinking and being and giving me the chance to fully express myself through mind and activies. Before I would barely be able to walk 100 meters without being gassed, i could drive a car for 5min and fall asleep. Dead tired.. and so on. But things are going so much better.

Yet.... I still suffer from energy collapses. I function for 5-6hours and then suddenly feel this tired sensation on my eyes! When doing weightlifting, matiralarts, running or other activies I do feel more energetic! But id say this is a more mental collapsed, like when sittin and reading in school or studying

Any ideas on building a regime of healthy supps, foods, tricks that might improve my recovery?
its 9 months past my chemo.

I'm definitely not one to comment on this subject as I simply do not have enough experience in this field, however, a workmate of mine suffered testicular cancer and just returned to work a few months ago, minus one ball. I have absolutely no idea what he does now as far as hormone therapy goes, or if he does anything at all. I will certainly ask him and may be able to contribute during the week. Worst part is, he's only 25. A young fella. He did go through chemotherapy, lost his hair etc.

How much sleep are you getting a night on average? And do you use caffeine?

Somedays i get 7hours other days i get 8hours!
I have a coffe in the morning and another cup at 15:00
- usually collapse after school; wich means i have to sleep 45min - 1hour to recover and have energy.

I use no supplements at all.

Theres a thread here: long term fatigue after BEP questions - TC-Cancer.com - Testicular Cancer Information & Support Forum Other patients talking about this form of tiredness.

I must also admit that I have rambled with the training. Going from a half-dead man to athlete within 4months of workingout. 220kg deadlift and all over activies, its actually where i feel the best... Could it simply be too much, strain combined with my recovery?

A full view of my story, training, and former disease can be seen/heard in my video/docu:

But i am still battling with the fatigue, energy problems! It sometimes ruins my social ability

Please do so.
Did he go through the BEP x 3? and Did he have RNPLD surgery in the stomach?
- Where was his testosteron levels after the journey, would be nice to see if he was higher then me and how his LH and FSH are.

Im 25 aswell.. Former gym rat, supplement turd and meat consumer. I must admit that I believe the supplements have a big role here, alot of younger boys are now developing TC and we are speaking of a different kind of Cell-type that could be connected to the use of supplements.
Theres another cell-type wich is connected to obese people, people where their testosteron drops and LH-FSH + other hormones get wrecked by trash chemicals and processed foods.

Nevertheless, report back wiv what ya hear.

Try to get off the caffeine. It will suck the first week but you will feel better afterwards when you are no longer dependent upon it. And if you are lifting and in school you may need more that 7-8 hours of sleep. Make time for sleep. If you have problems getting to sleep I find that melatonin works great.
