is anyone still advocating short cycles?

I think this is an interesting topic. How about we keep the sword fights to a minimum? lol

You know, when I researched PHs everybody on here was telling me they are crap and I won't gain anything.
I just went ahead and tried it and now I know better.

The same may very well be true for the whole short cycle concept.
People saying short cycles are worthless, base their assumption on Test cycles.
The short cycle philosophy doesn't recommend test to begin with, but rather fast acting compounds...
So people that haven't tried it, quite frankly don't know.

me personally i wold never do a short cycle...why?
lol I've tried peptides..injecting 3x day everyday gets old fast
im more of a slow and steady wins the race guy

I'm just trying to achieve a visual difference in my body, not so much an improvement in physical performance

One thing I noticed on my cycles is that I round out pretty quick. I get that visual appearance pretty quick.
But it always goes away after the cycle.
But you know that old saying lift big to get big.
I didn't get my shape from not making gains under the bar.
Not that my shape is anything to talk about,but it definitely doesn't look like it did 50lbs ago.


You should do a log tho I'm curious how it would turn out.
 
Pupil, no one here is attacking you personally. Most of the guys on this board advocate for what works. If short cycles provided the same effects as the convential cycles we run, you might see a change in the attitude on the topic. If its what you want to do; do it. Post a log and see if it was really worth it. Compare it to a long cycle and then the facts will come out. No one is in the business of attacking you, were just stating what we know. Plus its the internet bro - don't get so defensive over what people say, you'll likely never meet any of us in your lifetime. Just my 2¢
 
Some of my most significant transformations have taken place using short burst cycles with a nutritional prime beforehand. Short esters, relatively high doses, 6-8 week duration, nutritional prime beforehand = massive transformation and gains. I will not argue with anyone re this. If they say it is not the case - they havet tried it or done it properly. It is amazing. For those that do not know a nutritional prime s like a 4-6 week carb cycle pre cycle. It primes your body for growth. You go from that to a caloirc surplus and high doses of fast acting anabolics and the results are astounding. In fact I bet I can gain in 6 weeks what many can gain in 12. Thats not bragging, thats just the truth.

I'm sure a lot of people are interested in a low side / high yield method to use anabolics!
 

And when I say "really worth it," I mean if it was intrinsically worth it to you bro. If you're satisfied with the results that you get from a short cycle, why not just continue to run them? At the end of the day it's up to you to decide what's best for yourself -- all we can provide is anecdotal evidence and experiences.

are we talkin' about a traditional high carb/low carb days on/off schedule or something more progressive/extreme​

haven't really looked at NPP/Var, doing that now. I thought Oral Tbol was an excellent choice; Dbol w/o the sides?

I like to not stack 2 of the same based steroids on a burst cycle. tbo is test based, as is test obviously. The synergy of stacking test based,19nor and dht based seems to yeield the best results for me personally.
