Is bacteriostatic water & sterile water the same thing?

Guys bacteriostatic water, staril water and normal saline water are they the same?
No, just found this out for myself couple days ago. BAC water has sterile, non-pyrogenic water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol and 0.9% sodium chloride, added as a preservative and sterilized is only H2O (sterilized though of course)

Wrong. Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. There is no sodium chloride in bacteriostatic water. Saline is a sterile solution of sodium chloride in water.

Well on the bac water I bought there was sodium in it and it is sold as a part of hcg reconstruction pack with insulin syringes, etc.

Do you think there should not be any sodium chloride in it? Let me know please..

I miss-read Saline water for Sterile water

well in bacteriostatic water, no there shouldn't be any NaCl. There does exist however bacteriostatic saline which consists of NaCl and benzyl alcohol.

All right mate, but I am gonna stick with the stuff I got. Should even be better at keeping the gear free from micro organisms with a little salt or what do you or other guys think?
