Is honey a good dextrose source for a PWO shake?

Cause I read that whey gets absorbed much faster if mixed with water but maybe my source wasnt very reliable...
 
There is casein protein in milk which is absorbed slowly but since your body will be craving nutrients when you drink your PWO shake it shouldnt matter, it'll take whatever your feeding it because it needs to recover :D You'll be good to go with just milk/whey and maybe a banana or something to add in etc
 
You really think that you will notice a difference?

I think not.

Plus you get alot of vitamins, minerals, and fiber from fruit.
 
To be honest ,they will all work. It depends on how you want the control your sugar spike if that's what you are after.

A lot of people use honey to make homemade protein bars

eg... protein, oats, honey, natural peanut butter and chill
 
ive been using gatorade powder seems to work well but i think i might try some blueberries or raspberries
