Is it bad to drink a protein shake before bed?

I usually drink one in the morning with breakfast and one after a workout with my creatine or before I goto bed... should I take more? Or just take it at different times?

That isn't bad for you man. I would add something like natural peanut butter to the shake before bed though. You want something slower digesting than just whey before you go to sleep. Personally, I used to have a shake and natural pb before bed but I would wake up to go to the bathroom every hour or so because of all the liquid. Now I eat cottage cheese before bed for the casein protein.

cottage 1%fat cottage cheese is awesome b4 u goto bed,...
I always have about 350-400g b4 bed

yes..horrible. don't do it ever!
ok j/k. why could it ever be bad? adding a good fat may be good also. eg flax or nat pb.

for pre bedtime protein shakes dont use a 100% protein isolate product , that is the fastest absorbing protein and its great post workout but you want your pre bedtime shake to stick with you as long as possible soa mix of isolates and concentrates and maybe even some metrx would be best imo.

What about mixing your whey protein with milk to try and slow the digestion and prolong it a bit overnight?

Long as you dont mind the milk sugar. Id honestly skip the shake and go with a whole food, maybe a little fatty and add some fiber too. Hamburger meat or steak with some veggies.
