I just recently started my supplements and I love this stuff. I see crazy improvements everyday, and it really fills me up.

I drink about 3 shakes a day, one when I wake up, one before or after my workout (depents on how early or late it is) and one before I sleep. These really fill me up so I never get hungry. If I try to eat, I just shit it right back out. So is it bad to only fill myself with protien shakes?

Should I still eat and its okay if I shit all of it out in the night? Thanks.

you need real food as a lifter you should be aiming for 5-6 meals per day..i would eat 3 solid food meals than use 2-3 shakes per day..as a starting point..real food is always a better choice

i do 5 -6 whole meals a day, and throw in shakes to help get to 2grams of protein per lb of bodyweigt.

shakes w\milk are great for bulking

exactly! If you get full up on shakes you cant have been in this game very long. FORCE in the food, or take away the shakes and learn how to eat.

Anyhow you REALLY need to read up on diet... !

Okay, thanks for the comments. I think I'll have less shakes during the day, one when I wake up and one before I sleep. I'll try to eat more.

The only thing is I am trying to loose bodyfat weight, and the protien is just adding on weight, so I'm a little confused.

Like already mentioned:

Protein powders are Supplements and should be used as such. Your diet should consist of whole foods and then throw in a shake here and there as a supplement.

Who cares is u add weight. As long as its muscle. If u're busting ass in the gym u MIGHT not see the scale move much, but u could be making huge improvents(putting on muscle and loosing body fat). If u wanna loose fat start swimming or doing some kinda cardiovascualar activity(elliptical machine) 3 x a wk or so on top of your weight training. Best to do cardio in the early am on an empty stomach. then lift later. It takes time bro, be patient keep your diet in check. What kinda shake do u drink at night/? If u drink a whey protein at night u should stop. Just eat a little something at night(lowfat cottage cheese, piece of chicken, tuna something) Would take much longer to digest. Even casien protien shake if u really want a shake. Other wise, have a shake in the am w/carbs and some other kinda protien (I usually eat 30g whey 3 eggs 2 c rolled oats 1/4c raisins) Then it is really important to have a shake right after u get done w/your lifting workout(i have one about 15-30 min before my workout 2 along w/some kinda carbs (carbs i try and eat 1 hr before workout, like rye bread w/pb and honey or something like that) But do NOT think that just cuz u're drinking shakes means u don't have to eat other protien. If ya wanna grow u gotta eat. Don't starve yourself. Alter your diet by + or - 250-500 calorie change per wk or so. So say u wanna loose weight don't just cut your calorie intake drastically cuz u'll be defeating the purpose, your body will slow its metabolism to a crawl and go in starvation mode. U gotta make small changes cut calories by 250 for a wk, then maybe 250 the next. If ya wanna gain, do the opposite. Slow changes, nothing drastic. Keep your diet clean, get your protein in, and bust ass in the gym. U'll notice a big improvement.

Quick question: After doing cardio in the morning, I usually drink a shake consisting of 50g protein/75g carb (Dextrose), & then eat an hour later before I go to work...

Should I kick the carbs after my cardio session, & just take in protein to keep lypolosis going or does it matter? I will probably be trying to get leaner here soon. Thanks

If you're only doing 2 shakes per day, I'd make them when you wake up and immediately after your workout. Don't forget carbs, they are very important for muscle maintenance/recovery, especially after your workout

A shake before bed gets absorbed too quicky, a better choice would be 1 1/2 cans of tuna and a tablespoon of olive oil

I'd ditch the carbs and make it a pro/fat meal, fat slows digestion but doesn't stop lipolysis. 3 egg whites, 3 eggs, and 26g protein does it for me.

hmm if youre out to loose bodyfat then i´d skip the dextrose and do the cardio, eat pasta or something else like that.
But take in the dextrose after the weights, together with youre whey drink.

good luck
