Is it in my mind or it is really problem with my heart ?

Hi,

I have kind of work where there is lots of stress and workout is my one of the way to fight it, lately my work is really messed up and been going through lot, however, was also researching about cycle from long, happen start my cycle recently (Jan26), so its onset of 4th week for my cycle, being first one, lots of new things I learned and still learning.
Anyways, so, I had little higher cholesterol (214) in blood work I did before starting cycle, (I have also thread for that), went for cardio, some Ayurved, it went to normal (189) as per blood work done after around 8-10 days..

So, now I regularly feel little pinch feeling on my left side of chest, is it something in my heart.. onset of heart problem ?.. however during workout etc, there is no problem. When I touch or press pinch area, it appears to subside, so is it simply muscle cramp or kind of thing ? It sometimes changes places.. but I also feel it is more in my head as I think about it, I starts feeling for it..

I am 27th year, athletic built, ~15% body fat, kind of worried, should I see cardiologist ? I also have plan to get work done including lipids after 2 more weeks ..

So, what do you think, its in my head or really there could be something I need to worry about ?

Nobody can answer that question, haven't seen a poster yet that claims to be a cardiologist and even then they cant tell just from what you are saying. That cholesterol is fine. You need to get your blood pressure checked.

Go see your reg Doc, he may give you an EKG if he thinks there's a prob. Most of the time you need to be referred to cardiologist.

have your bp checked.
also, get to the doctor. you def don't want to fuck around with something like that.
I get a twitch from time to time by my left peck, but ive determined that its just a muscle cramp, tight muscle, etc...
youre issue sounds different.
seeing a doctor is the best and only advise I can give bro.

could possibly be a minor pec tear. had it happen to me couple years ago. felt like pin needles in my chest. but speculation wont solve anything but more psychological problems haha. just get it checked out.

I am going to get BP monitor tomorrow as well as will see a doc , I know few heart specialist around.

But I guess it is more in my head but could be anything. Infact I was all just cool , then looked over this thread and started to feel it ..

And I started hitting the weights again after my OHS, I noticed chest pain that I've never felt before. It would be on right side then left side. Felt like numb and tight at same time. At first I ws scared as shit after just having my heart in a humans hands months earlier.

I would drive my thumb into the pain center and work the muscle untold the bum pain went away. I just figured after all the trauma, maybe some of the muscle was reattaching to my sternum. The fact that the pain would gravitate from one side to the other led me to believe it wasn't actual heart chest pain. Plus now with a mechanical heart valve i can hear my valve ticking like a watch and if it lbs regular I can hear it.
Anxiety can fool someone to think they really have problems when it actually nothing to worry about

I understand that it is more anxiety ..
Anyways, I visited cardiologist today, he did BP which was 150/100 , so BP is on higher side, he also did ECG and said that you have little anomaly in at V6 part of it, I asked if it could be related to extreme exercise etc.. he said if you have regularly high BP then it could also produce same result.

He prescribed me pills for :
1. BP control
2. Anxiety control
3. Acidity

And asked for following invstigations:
Lipid profile
TSF
CBS
Urine - R
Urine - B

And asked me to visit after 3 days when he is will do ECHO for my heart.

Now, since I am on test E, high BP is something which is bound to happen, so what should I do now ?

Increase AI dosage (Anastrozole .25 EOD currently) .

Advice please...

I am yet to get my BP monitor, it should be at with me tomorrow.

My ECG says, I have high pulse rate (more than 100) that is Sinus Tachycardia as well as Slight ST-T abnormality (v6).

So, am I worried for no reason as it is part of test cycle (high BP).

Anyone ever had ECG during cycle ?

*Ahem* I am a cardiologist, and declare the OP is dying.

Now give me all your gear when you die.

Please...?

JUST KIDDING. :D

Have to agree with Black Beard on this. Oddly, just thinking you have something wrong can trigger symptoms to appear; I'd go see a doctor personally and leave out the whole pesky AAS part. See what they think, don't try to self-diagnose something as potentially fatal as a heart condition. It's the number one killer for a reason. ;)

I understand situation here, as I said I went to doc, now I am with investigation he asked for.

Everything is good apart of
Total Cholesterol : 219 .. (heck .. its increased again .. ...may be high carb diet)
LDL = 159 (lesser is better)
HDL 35 (40 or more is good)

Apart of that, I went for E2, which is 59 ...

So, elevated BP is due to high E2 ?

E2 is a little high, HDL is shitty. Do you feel like you have water retention? Why don't you have a blood pressure?

A good E2 range for most men is 20-30 pg/ml(?) HDL should be higher than that, it protects your cardiovascular system from damage. Estrogen is supposed to increase HDL but estradiol is the devil, haha. You still need some to function though. Get your damn blood pressure checked. I ALWAYS ask the nurse what my BP, they don't usually tell people if they don't ask unless it's bad.

Don't feel like water retention at all.

Also, I do have high BP , that is what may have caused V6 anomaly in ECG. I am yet to get my BP monitor as ordered online, expected delivery is today or tomorrow. However, I guess I only have high BP issue and also mind game which is causing muscle twitching on pects, which goes aways most of the time just by holding there (as also experienced by many here. )

I have cholestrol on higher side, I have been prescribed with statin which is supposed to decrease LDL and increase HDL , I have decided to take it.

May be I am too much worried about things. ..

Going to include more vigorous cardio in my routine which is said to be good for Lipids..

Doc wants to do Echocardiography to assertain things..

Now question is that E2 can be lowered by increasing A I?

If you don't feel any effects, you could probably get away with it, but some light AI used should get you into the "optimal" range. I would try it just to see how you feel at a lower E2 level. It could be affecting your blood pressure.

I got my BP monitor, current readings are

142 / 86
pulse is 90

So as per BP Monitor, I am in Hypertension stage 1

Now, should I increase AI , as mentioned, I had started it late, may could be reason I have high E2, had dosage of .25 EOD, but lately made it .5mg EOD (last 3 dose were .5mg - its Anastrozole).

So what should be dose now are I should continue at .5 EOD and wait for some time for AI to kick in .. I am not sure how much time it takes to affect E2 level..

Now taking Anastrozole 0.5mg EOD
BP gets average of :

135/80

Pulse gets 80 on average..

So, if you people take TEST E, do you get high BP like me ? .. it is consistently above average level.. should I be worried ?
