Would it be a risk to do a bulk cycle with a certain bodyfat%?

I am 24years old

I weight 198lbs
I have 16%(31.7 lbs)bodyfat
Lean body weight 167lbs

I plan to eat very clean(I have been for about a month now)

I want to start another test cycle(qv enathate), I am also adding EQ as well.
Now if I am going for a bulking and a harding cycle, would I be risking just adding more bodyfat, even though I am eating clean this time around?

Obviously I would be in good health and Im a fan at doing a bulking cycle with no more than 12-14% bf. Everybody is different healthwise. Its always a good thing to have frequent check-ups while on gear such as Blood pressure etc..

It doesn't matter if you "eat clean" with regards to how much fat you will gain. I don't know why people think eating clean keeps them from getting fat. That's not why you eat clean. What will effect how much fat you gain is how many calories you eat over maintenance. Doesn't matter if those are clean calories or not.

FYI - any time you bulk, you risk adding more bodyfat. Just play it cool, do your bulker, then see how it looks afterward. You can always cut later on if you get too fat.

I concur.

As long as your "health indicators" (i.e. blood pressure, resting heart rate, etc.) are alright, bulking at that body fat is fine as long as it is in line with your goals. Shit, I know powerlifters that are well over 20% body fat that are "bulking". Are they risking their health in part, probably. But it is all related to your specific goals. Just be aware of your health and you should be fine.
