is there a vital difference between

lifting heavy for an hour straight

compared to

lifting heavy for 3-6 hours but your also talking to buds inbetween sets and your taking 3-4 min rest times inbetween

because lately ive been doing option two and i still feel like im working out just as good? :angel2:
 
because my mind frame is basically, if you have a good diet than it doesnt matter the difference between two? i could be very wrong, any insight? :dj:
