Is 100% whey iso. still effective (high bioavail) when baked...as in making homemade protein bars. some brands suggest that it be kept in a cool dry place...I was wondering if it is baked if the protein (some of it) is denatured, rendering it less effective?
I don't think it will be less effective, but that's just a guess. There is a recipe somewhere for peanut butter protein bars. They are good and don't require baking.
you are going to destroy many of the fractions, but it still will be a good protein source (though there are cheaper protiens that would be better suited for cooking)
