I just got it today & am going to do it this afternoon. My doc has me starting on 0.5 ml for the first 7 days.

Good luck with your therapy and glad you have a doctor that is willing to help you out like that, they are very hard to find and willing to help.

i like to take it in the mornings. and btw, 500mg cyp is not testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), it's a cycle. 100-200mg per week is the average guy's testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose. how much are you planning to use and how often? hcG or AI?

oops, nevermind saw your re-post. lol! anyway good luck to you! i assume thats .5mgs of 200mg/ml which would be 100mg per week.

I finally found a doc that wants to do their job. My last one put me on trochies & said see u in a couple months & we will retest you. When i started i was at 175 total then retested my total T was 1900 & I felt like crap. So I found a new one that wants to test after a week from my first injection & I brought up the estrogen factor which is probably what messed me up at the 1900 level & we are going to monitor that as well. It amazes me that these hormone specialists don't see the affects of estrogen & monitor it as well. My endocrinologist refused to test my estrogen levels at 1900, I guarantee they were out of control.

Good luck on your protocol. I currently take my injection in the morning. But will switch when I start self pinning.

Running blood work one week after your first injection is pointless. It takes longer than a week for injections to build up in you and raise your test. Give it 4-6 weeks before running bloodwork.

Is this also true when cycling? Because I had blood work 2 weeks into a cycle and my levels came back >1500?

It's all dependent on saturation, your pre cycle/TRT T count and the frequency/dosage of your cycle/TRT.

If you're pinning 400-600mg a week, you're going to be well over 1500 in two weeks. You'll likely wind up with a 3000-5000 T count at peak saturation.

You are right, I talked to the doc again today & I misunderstood from out meeting. She said after my 8th injection which would be 2 months get blood drawn 6 days after my last shot. I just had a bad experience waiting so long when using the trochies going 2 months without being checked on, my T went up to 1900 & I felt like shit, but that doc wouldn't check my estrogen either. Makes me nervous waiting that long to get rechecked.

If it is a normal testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose (100-200mg per week) you will not get up to 1900 again. Besides, having your T at that level was not your problem. It was the estradiol that aromatized off it. So likewise, you need to be ready to manage your estradiol while you are on injections. Make sure you get a lab test to see how yours looks.

Agreed!! I took my first shot last Wed. & everyday seems to feel a little bit better than I am looking forward to my next one. My doc has estradiol incluced on the next blood draw to check that level as well, after that whole 1900 & that doc refused to check my estrogen levels no matter how bad I felt, hell I was just about in tears in her office when she said no. fired that one & got one that will listen now....much more happy.

Thanks for your input.

Just 3.5 days apart. I do my first shot monday 8am and second shot thurday 8pm that's exactly 3.5 days. If your a few hours apart or even 8 you can't tell a difference. I just prefer the routine so it's a little easier to keep track.
