Racitams are nootropics. A nootropic is a mental drug that has many beneficial effects.(I have used Piracitam personally with selenium). Enhanced focus, speeding up of thought, stimulation, FAR better mood, mental clarity.

And to be qualified as a nootropic they enhance blood brain barrier penetration and are also NOT toxic. A nootropic is pretty much non-toxic regardless of dose, with few exceptions.(Such as piracitam draining your selenium from your brain giving you freaking migraines).
