Let's get right to business!

Age 29
Height-6'3"
waist-36"
weight-193lbs
-facial hair, chest hair, moderate back hair
-I carry fat in my trunk (lower back, abdomen, and chest). legs and arms are fairly lean.
-3.5 years ago I was ~315lbs. Dropped down to 190 a little over a year ago and have been holding steady around 190 despite my efforts to get to 180. Currently eating & training to gain ~1 lb/week.
-A recent DXA scan comparison showed that I had lost LBM (3.1 lbs) & gained fat (1.1 lbs) between Oct '11 and Feb '12. During this time I was eating 1g/lb bw in protein daily, training 3days/week & consuming approx 2000 cals/day. These results motivated me to have the blood work done.
-I train 3days/week squat/press/pull every day. About 1-1.5hrs in the gym.
-I have a Varicocele. Sometimes it causes a heavy or dragging sensation.
-Labido crashed during my weight loss journey. It's showing signs of improvement now that calories are up. Still nothing to write home about.

All blood was taken 12hrs fasted at approx 9am.

This is my first time visiting this GP. Over the phone he informed my my FT & LH levels were low. He then recommend I do some research on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), Endocrinology, and different T-delivery methods. He mentioned NOTHING about the cause of my Low FT & LH. What do you experienced guys recommend? Your help will be MUCH appreciated!

Lots of data there. What type of advice are you looking for?

Basically, ideas on where to go from here. I posted this on another testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum, and a retest was suggested, which makes sense. I've got an appointment this Tuesday.

The suggestion of a SERM restart may be worth trying. If my condition is related to long term dieting, maybe its possible for my system to be restored if given to proper kick start. Would you guys agree?

I'm sure you know your test level is in the gutter, but Your LH is low... This hormone is secreted from the pituitary to tell your nuts to make test. Is suggest finding out why. It's common to have a small cyst or tumor on the pituitary that blocks the LH. Med can be given to make it shrink. Google for more info. I only know this because I recently had this all checked by my urologist to make sure I really needed Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). In my case my LH is good.... My boys just don't work.

Anyway I'm no doc but thats something is surely check out.

The Prolactin is in check so it wouldnt be that condition which is called prolactinoma.
LH does not always rise as T levels fall either its a much poorer relationship than Thyroxin and TSH for example.

Total T and Free T are both low though as is LH and Vit D.

Had any form of Testicle damage? If not I think you just have low end testosterone levels like myself,.

The Dr is probably right saying research testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) methods because there is nothing else that really stands out as a cause from the bloods.

Take D3 too.
