First - you guys rule! I have looked at most of the women on here...BEAUTIFUL LADIES! I can tell you are dedicated. Second, I am just now educating myself on cycles and usage. I am 18 years old, 5'5, 135 lbs and 18% body fat. I have a lot of problem areas building muscle - I can get skinny as a rail though, but putting on lean mass is difficult for me. With that being said, what is good to start on as to not get BIG, but to put on LEAN mass...? Is there anything? Need some education from women that know what they're talking about! And clearly, you all do a little more than just TALK about it.

Any advice would be great. I am a little confused, but wanting to learn all I can! Thanks ladies...looking forward to the journey here

Hello CRyancey Welcome to Ology :)

Building muscle, especially for women, takes a lot time & hard work...and losing fat while gaining muscle is very challanging... Are u training at all now ? & when u say u can get skinny as a rail, is it because of extreme dieting ? Because if it is, u are losing weight but also losing muscle...Diet is key to building muscle, o lot of women make this mistake & over restrict their diet thinking they need to do this in order to lose fat... You really need to eat "enough" to grow. You neeed to eat enough protein, good complex carbs & good fats.
Check out our diet section there's lots of useful info posted there.

Training wise u should focus on strength training for the most part, increased strength will result in increased muscle mass, gains in strength with relative gains in bodyweight will result in an increse of lean muscle mass... 34 X a week, chose a training program that u can stick to for a few weeks & measure your progress, and then u can begin to change your routine every 6-8 weeks if you hit a plateu.

As far as you researching about cycles & usage, first you are too young to even think about running a cycle.. running a cycle without a solid Diet/Training foundation will yield no results there isn't anything out there that will "build" muscle if these two factors aren't in place... Again, before considering a cycle you shoudl always allow your body plenty of time & training experience, you'll be amazed as to what u can achieve naturally.

Good luck to u~
