Large Itchy Lump Under Sub Q Inj Site

So I loaded my Ipamorelin / CJC 1295 into Slin Pin and injected into Sub Q ass as always....

Quite a bit of air (a few cc's worth) was in the pin and I didnt notice until it was already inside me so I said screw it and pushed the air in.

Now there is this large slightly discolored lump a little bigger than a quarter where I shot. Itches... should i be concerned?

Lol. I have no clue why you would have 2-3 cc's of air in a syringe before you even decide to inject yourself. I just don't see how you did that. I wouldn't be concerned. Just keep an eye on it and it should go away. Next time, pull out the needle and do it the right way.

You would have noticed the couple cc's of air. unless you were using like a 50cc syringe. If the air was to get into your circulatory system you could die. A small lump is normal with sub q injections though. Never say screw it when it comes to your body. Not aspirating or getting ALL of the air out can have serious consequences. I would just watch it and give it a week or so, if its not any smaller or getting bigger/warm to the touch it would be an infection. get it checked out if so.

most slin pins ive seen are only 1cc or 1/2cc the whole syringe , theres no way u injected a few cc of air into yourself , either way , a little air bubble is no big deal sub-Q and will deisperse in time on its own , ur good , however , sub-Q injections can sometimes cause little lumps and pain but are normal , im not suer about the discoloration however , if u are sterile when injecting u should be good , keep an eye on it to make sure it not infection , but even if it were infection , you are at much less risk because it only sub-Q and not injected DEEP into the muscle
