Layer of fat on lower abs

See that layer of fat on my lower abs? I can't get that to go away! I understand that I am on a bulking diet and must expect this, but it's driving me nuts. I'vehad it for a while, even before I started lifting ... metabolism started slowing down and I started putting on fat.

I do sit ups, knee raises, etc once a week and I walk 30 mins on the treadmill at least 3-4 times a week. Any ideas ...LIPO?

man mines the same way, it never goes away for me til im on a good cutting cycle/diet/training program. the only thing that will do it is to get that fat gone, jus doing all the exercises wont get the fat gone. it sux i know!!!

u have to start running and have a proper diet. if u run a few miles everyday and have a proper diet u will shed that fat no problem.

cardio and diet is really all you can do. so you'll have to wait till after your done bulking and cut.

i neccessarily don't believe this. you can run everyday and keep ur diet as clean as possible and lose fat. its all in how clean ur diet is. run 2 miles a day and in a month most of that fat will be gone but u have to have a proper diet.

Running 2 miles a day is for a month is highly catabolic. The fat will be gona but so will the muscle. All you need to do is 2 sessions of High Intesity Interval Training and 1 session of steady running every week all lasting no more than 30 minutes.

You cant really bulk and cut at the same time, you are fighting yourself trying. As far as the fat is concerned, I can see my lower abs until I m to at least 5% BF, now thats a bitch. You really have to have a clean diet to get rid of the fat around your abs, Also keep in mind, the first place fat shows up will be the last place you lose it from.

Welcom to the club... I've never in my life lost my abs, but every bulking period I see them less and less... I'd say that's an advent of the progressive harder and harder diets I hit while I"m trying to gain weight.

Just grin and bear it till the next spring, after a certain point in gaining, I just shrug it off and tell everyone I"m fat. Most of the time people still think I'm ripped as hell, even though my self conciousness says "fat". You'd be surprised what other people see when they look at you (if they aren't into fitness)

every 1 goes through that wen bulking, best thing is to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, no carbs after 4 pm , no matter how much abs u do , the diet is g2 shred and tighten u up more then anything its harder but if u want it u can do it
good luck

Everyone has there thing, but I would not do cardio while bulking. The idea is to pack on the pounds which I cannot do if Im doing any type of cardio. Just eat clean, and eat a lot and that will keep the excess fat off. If you have access to get your BF measured on a regular basis I would do that as well, I try to stay under 10% while bulking so when it comes time to rip it up it will not take near as long. My .02...

no matter how any abs exercises u do, if ur diet is not dialed in u won't see results
Exactly! You need diet, cardio and a little Tren is helpful.

And stay away from Lipo. When fat comes back it will just find a different location settle in.
