Here are my stats... 6ft 198lbs. I am looking to get up to about 205-210 but stay lean. Id say right now i am about 10-12% bf max. i have a relatively high metabolism and good vascularity. ofcourse i want to drop down the body fat, especially in the mid section while putting on some solid lean mass. I am looking for some good dieting tips to help me achieve my goals. Any and all responses are welcome. A sample diet would be great or atleast a lis of foods and serving sizes.

This should be helpful.

When wanting to put on either lean mass or losing fat while gaining some muscle (SOME), proper portions of carbs and fat becomes important. This is where the Metabolic Diet becomes so important, and I mention it at the beginning of the thread. The reason is, excess carbs tend to make you fat. It's not as simple as one magic ratio that fits everyone...everyone is individual and needs to find the correct ratio. This correct ratio that you will discover is very important for lean mass because it establishes the minimum amount of carbs you need to gain and feel good. So you can eat at what your body needs, and not end up consuming excess which could likely go to fat.

Also keep in mind that you should be eating MEAT for most of your protein. The only powders you should use are at workout time and immediately after. The reason is meat is more thermogenic, so this will help with lean mass gains and aid fat loss.
