[PICS] Looking to maximize progress as a newbie

If my goal is to gain some muscle and lose some fat (i.e. get ripped). I have plenty of body fat but very little muscle. What would be recommended for me in the steroid/supplement/vitamins/etc departments for me? I'd like to do everything I can to work toward my goal within a span of 3-5 months. Also, if I have a predisposition to male baldness, should I wish my hair goodbye?

Stupid as it sounds, I have done the research on the dangers, and for my own reasons I have decided to go all out a 3-5 month period. I have a reliable source to any steroid and I'd like to abuse it while the connection is strong.

Train 5 year naturally and then hit the stuff because if you don't and when you take breaks you will not have a strong base and lose most of everything. I know you want to run something.. but damn.. The first year you will put on what the juice would do anyway... Prove it to yourself that you can stick with it for 1 year and then you have my permission to gear up. How is that?! : )

Yes this sounds incredibly stupid. You probably think that pumping yourself full of steroids for 5 months will produce results? HAH, funny guy. If anything you will have to dedicate your life to it. 3to 5 months even with top notch diet and perfect workouts + steroids will not fix that mess. You got to start by dieting down to pretty much 10% bf, then build some mass, (all this should be done within the first 3 years) then diet down again to about 12% bf, and then maybe then, you can take steroids.

^ i agree with the others

how old are you?

sorry, but looking at those pics it doesn't seem like you are working out right. I would say hit up 3J in the diet section and get a good diet and workout plan made. work out natty for 5-6 months a build a good base. if your body is stronger there will be fewer chances of injury

No natural base - you'll lose anything you gained once you come off...not to mention the strain on your tendons...oh god! The strain on your tendons! :worried:

So, the guys above are right. No steroids, proper diet and training for 3-4 years. Good luck, have fun.

I'm on my first cycle now dude, 23 years old and 216 lbs before I started. Been lifting weights since I was 16 and taking the bodybuilding aspect of it seriously since 19. When I was 19 and 20 everyone around my age or younger was getting on it, alot of guys within their first 6 months of training, it was hard to resist but I'm glad I did. Accomplished alot naturally and thats why my conscious is clear when it comes to taking AAS. Listen to what these other guys are saying, I've seen it first hand, get a good base and then consider AAS.

I half expected these answers. In that case, what can I do in the diet and exercise department to maximize results? Where do I start my research to maximize efficiency?

I'm also very curious as to what would happen if I did take steroids. Would the gains be good?

Hopefully this isn't too off topic for the AS forum.

Take the advice .. Search the net for training tips ...routines. Diet will be the key .. Get a good base than think about AAS...

Dedication is the main thing...if you stay true to this you will see results... Some people think that just by juicing up that's it... Dedication... Dedication and hard work...plus juice... Lol

I suggest you see a nutritionist for your diet. It takes a while to dial it in if you have no experience with proper eating. 3J (forum sponsor) has produced some amazing results, I would contact him.

Training wise, just google "beginner workout programs". muscleandstrength.com has a few good beginner programs. Make sure you start at the beginner level, because that is what you are. Don't do some advanced 5 day split because you think advance means "better", you are not ready. I would also look to cut first at your current BF% & then bulk up. Whatever you choose, make sure you stick with it for at least 12 weeks (minimum) - don't flip flop...and familiarize yourself with the concept of "progressive overload".

As for "what would happen if I did take steroids"...you would waste your $...AAS are not some magical concoction you can just inject and expect results. The results come from proper training and diet, all AAS do is enhance the results. No proper diet, training, or base means little to no results and a disappointed user.

Take the money you were going to spend on teh juice and email 3j he will take care of the rest. As long as you have the discipline to follow his instructions you wont believe the results you will get in a year . Work your ass off in the gym for at least a year as well, then maybe you could do a test only cycle for like 12 wks with the proper protocol. Not 4-5 months brother.

Yes you could do a test cycle and yes you will gain mass and strength but you will lose all of it when you end your cycle and possibly injure yourself in the process. No easy roads here hommie.

Good luck.
