Low carb & High fat diet. 5 weeks out.

Hello!

So I'm 5 weeks out. Coach told me to go on low carb high fat. My numbers are currently 45C 47F 150P

My stats are currently 132lbs, height 5'10, body fat: 18%


Is my carbs or fats still too high? Or does those numbers look good? This add up to around 1300 cals. On my off season I was eating 2600 so it's quite low at this stage.
 
Are you doubting your coach? Did he/she layout a diet for you?

Maybe re post this in the diet section, better chance one of the more knowledgable guys will see it

Did he want you in ketosis? That's where the body shifts over to using fat as an energy source instead of glucose - which also depletes your glycogen a great deal. You lose up to 10lbs the first week from water alone.

I'd clarify as the macros you have now are way off, and would be more like 10/70/20 (C/F/P). With carbs that high, you'll just be converting that fat into glucose, which defeats the point.
