low carb/higher fat diet ?'s

okay, here is a question for the pros...

i know that the recommended diet is to be 45/45/10... but i like to eat meat... so would eating something that is fattier than what is recommended, but eaten with out carbs as good or equal to eating something that is lean eaten with carbs if the protein ratio was equal but the cals where more fat than carbs??

basically, can you eat a fatty meat instead of eating a lean meat with carbs and still have the same results???

Well... you need cholesterol to make testosterone. I'm not saying if you eat steak at every meal you'll be huge, but there's a reason farm boys are so big. Case in point: Jay Cutler.

keto diets rely on fats like ur explaining here..

this would mean ur carbs would be less then 40g all day..

you would replace those carbs with fats... though i dont think the idea of high saturated fats is a good idea..

u want efa's not crap fats.. dont get me wrong saturated fats play an important role in ur body but at moderation... for example, if u were to be in post cycle therapy (pct) upping ur sat fats would be a smart thing, it plays a building block in restoring natty test levels...

u should keep ur meats moderately lean.. a fattier cut here and there wont kill u.. just keep count of what your having
