I think the title says it all.
I've worked out for 15 years and for the last 10 years I've had trouble gaining and lose it easily. Escpecially the last few years I've been very tired all the time and at 35 it sucks.
So around the first of this month I went to my doc and go her to run bloodwork. Well finally after many left messages with no return calls I finally get an answer my free test was 69 in a window of 45-245. I'm not sure what unit of measure they used but I've been diagnosed to have low T.
The good news is I know whats wrong. The bad news is she tried to prescribe me 1 shot per month of 200mg test. After explaining to the nurse that was a horrible idea because of it peaking within a few days and being gone in 10-14. I asked for weeky injections and it was like talking to a brick wall. The nurse didn't care that I had done research and know others on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), that's what the Dr. ordered...take it or leave it. So I told her nevermind, thats not even close to a proper thearapy regimine and I'm not putting my body through that and hung up. I'm sure I'd get nowhere with the discussion of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) as well.
Does anyone know what unit of measure they used for my free test and also are there any good online docs that know more than a newb whos only searched a few forums?
Thanks for any help.
