I need some help with my lower abs...my upper abs are great..its just that my lower abs are lacking...anyone have any good ideas on how to bring them out more??

forced push down leg raises work great for lower abs heres how to do it
ly on the floor and have someone stand over you while you hold on to their legs (thier feet should be underneath your shoulders so if you look up you see their stuff) then raise your legs toward them and have him/her throw down your legs as you try to resist( you should go left side, straight, right side) and keep your legs toward him/her
its a pretty advanced movement and should be started out with not too much force but trust me movement this great

good luck

These work great.

Also, hanging leg raises are good for targeting lower abs.

Reverse curls with the stability ball between your feet work well for getting that lower burn. Also again using the stability ball, you put your feet on the stability ball so your in a push up position. Then you roll the ball towards your chest and then back to the starting position.
Does that make any sense....lol? I can picture it in my head but it's actually hard to write down in words. Excellent exercise for hitting the lower area of the abdominals. Yes, hanging leg raises but make sure you're lifting with your abs and not just throwing your legs up. A lot of people end up targeting their hip flexors more than their abdominal wall. :)

I really hesitate to post this but its a fine addition to your abb workout...
checkout the abmat.. Ive done them all... and yes Hanging leg raises are great.
but if you have a chance to try one out, do 20 leg raises on this little pad..

you will be amazed...

do a google search... I think you will find a pic.. it about $40...
I was at the fitness store to buy a prospot p500 and my girlfriend at the time wanted this abmat. So they threw it in... The girl is gone but the abmat is still in my gym... Im starting to think that was a worth while trade..
