Lower Back

My lower back is gross , Im 5'10 225 jacked up, I have a little stomach but its not all that bad, my problem is my love handles and lower back , any advice on What Exercise I can perform to lose the fat around my lower back.

Or try dieting down. That fat might be hard as hell to lose though. Thats where I hold my fat too, and I feel the same way. My lower back is pretty well developed but it looks like shit, excersizes wont strip the fat away...diet/cardio will.

Yes that's true to a degree but if you do tons of reps working the lower back using light wait and puting enough energy into it, then you will loose fat and gain tone. But most people don't go crazy like that when they workout so cardio probably would be better.

Sorry, but I have to call BS on that one.

And there is no such thing as "toning" muscles, they grow or they don't.

Can you explain how this spotreducing would happen?

Thanks all for the imput, I know the key is dieting and cardio but these 2 spots seem to be where I can not shed any fat , My weight stays between 200 and 225 but when im at 200 my love handles and lower back are still gross.
I know this may be a topic for another board but what do you gus think about these OTC fat cutting creams?
 
They dont really work unless you are really low in bodyfat, otherwise, you are just wasting money. Diet down even more bro...itll be worth it!

exactly..no amount of reps/weight or execises will shed fat..youll lose the love handles through diet and cardio...
