What exercise(s) is the best for building the lower part of the chest. I do a lot of flat bench, some decline and dips but it doesnt seem to help me get a bigger tuck under the lower part of my chest. Any opinions?

I still think weighted dips are one of the best chest exercises ever, assuming you use proper form and further assuming you can add weight when doing dips.

I agree dips will help to build big pecs

Yeah, dips are a GREAT exercise IF you can do them. NOt everyone can. I personally can't because they agrivate my shoulder(i've had a shoulder injury in the past and it acts up BAD if I attempt dips). I think I have a good chest and all I do is different types of benching(incline, decline, flat, reverse grip) and switch them up. Sometimes do db bench work too, but mainly stick to barbell.

You need to have big pics all around to cause them to have that nice tuck, sounds like you just have to add some size to the entire area- dont focus too much on "lower" chest movements. Keep it simple and compound, like dips, bench, dumbbells etc.

have you seen this guys "pics" ???? lol
dougoe is right on the money

Dont worry too much about refinement if you dont have much to refine, just keep it simple. While I love to change angles, I'm one of those who believe there is no such thing as "lower chest movements."

So basically keep adding mass all around and it will begin to form eventually?

I agree. Time and patience will make your chest better overall. And you cannot change the shape of your muscles, its all about genetics. You can only make them bigger. Thats fine too :)
