Lowering Testosterone Levels Before a Blood Test

If someone were to do a 5 week cycle of methylstenbolone, wait 1 week, and get a hormone panel done, would the results indicate low levels of testosterone? If so, would those levels be low enough to warrant testosterone replacement therapy?

ur tanking your levels to get test prescribed huh ? I don t even know what meth whatever is but if you intro something exo and jump off...yes it could, but 2 weeks would be safer depending on that drugs half life...i think

It's a pretty strong oral. 9h half life I think, so I thought 1 week would be safe. Would the Dr. know I was on cycle (i.e. high RBC, liver enzyme)?

worst case say u bought a legal pro hormone from GNC n say that's what fucked u up

A doc will just tell you to wait and come back in three months or put you on a restart. The doc surely will see that LH and FSH are shut down completely and know something is up. Even severely secondary hypogonadal men have some LH and FSH.

Best way to find out is blood test, then you will know for sure and can go to the doctor. Ive heard worse, some guy the other day was going to use birth control. Do you know what your testosterone levels are right now?

Yeah. YOu should atleast get a baseline. Who knows maybe you have high test levels and it's something else. High estro or prolactin. You never know until you get tested. This is a dangerous game your playing, at least know what you are doing. You always need blood work. If you start relying on testosterone replacement what happens if you lose insurance or you go broke and can't afford testosterone anymore? or you forget to pin and take your aas on travel? You're going to have the test levels of a woman, that's what. YOu need to seriously reconsider comletely trashing your endogenous production without even knowing what your packing to begin with. At least get a baseline, then come back to us and we can further assist you. It's your body though, so you can do whatever to it.

diff hormone deficiencies have distinct parents that show up on blood tests .. so if there's no consistencies and some r spiked but some r nonexistent (no LH/FSH but high test) then that will tip them ... what I was saying is no matter the cause of ur deficiency, the fact is the dr will realize ur shut off and depending on their philosophies could still treat ur condition regardless of cause ... so if the doc calls u out on it, admit to using and not following w/ PCT and they will start u on test replacement possibly ... or they will just see ur shut off, not ask why and start u on test ...

I am more curious just to see what my blood work looks like, but also like the idea of a prescription for test...I certainly don't want to screw my self up or anything.

So get the blood work, if your test is really shitty with no chance of bringing it back, go for TRT but trust me it's not what you think it is. YOu aren't going to be shooting up bodybuilding levels of testosterone. It's going to replace what you probably already have and at best give you a little extra, while shrinking your nuts to the size of raisins and shutting down your progesterone production. Your balls don't just make testosterone.

I would not recommend telling your doctor that you used AAS. He/she very well may write that in your medical records and that could cause you problems for the rest of your life. You probably would never be able to purchase a life insurance policy for example.

Yeah, taking steroids could void the warranty on your life :D

Tanking your levels is not a good idea. You'll probably do it for nothing.
Your doc will more than likely send you to an endo and even if he does it himself he will not only be checking your test levels but a multitude of other things which will raise a red light. Docs aren't stupid and if yours is then you may have a chance but tanking your levels for nothing is not a great idea

I mostly agree with that ... I only happened to be sitting next to an endocrinologist I'm rotating with and tossed that theory by him and that's essentially what he told me

AND today's the long awaited day for my blood draw and can finally begin TRT next week and hopefully GH pending insurance re-approval :)

Forget this silly idea. If you don't need it, don't bother with trying to trick doctors man. There are cheaper and easier methods of obtaining AAS than by messing with your hormones to get a script. FYI: It's not like they just say, "hey, since you're low on testosterone, here's your LIFETIME script for free testosterone vials!"

It's more like, "Okay, so we see that you have low testosterone/FSH/LH and elevated liver values. We need to get a follow-up blood panel in 4 weeks to determine if this is just a transient response or if this is indeed your steady state value of hormones." Then if you are dedicated enough to keep them low for another month, it'll be: "Okay, so this looks like you may be suffering from secondary (after grilling you about AAS use and you vehemently denying it) hypogonadism. We need to run an MRI if your pituitary gland/hypothalamus/and run a few more tests including prolactin/vitamin D/estradiol/thyroid/adrenal output."

Let's say by the grace of god they actually put you on test after another month of waiting and you're STILL keeping yourself suppressed...

"Okay, we need you to come back in after four weeks of treatment to see how this dose is treating you."

Okay, so you can come off the junk you've been taking and actually pin the test you've been given to REPLACE your natural levels.

"Hmm, it seems we need to increase your dose a little. Odd, your liver values seem to have improved - that's good. See me in another month."

Do you see where I'm going with this? It's not like you're just given a script for test and sent on your way. There might be a handful of quacks out there that do this, but that's like winning the lottery - it's just not favorable odds for you. Even if you stick with it to this point, you can't suddenly come off the test and start banking it as they'll know by your increased FSH/LH values on a panel in the future. In fact, most docs (in my experience) will want to continue monitoring your values for the next couple years at 1 month/3 month/6 month intervals. TOO MUCH WORK. ;)

Just cycle like everyone else (if you're old enough) and work the proper channels to locate UGL product. Save the TRT stuff for guys that actually have no other option as they no longer make testosterone on their own.

My .02c :p
