Maximus HRT response time

Hello everyone new guy here found this awesome forum while searching for info on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
long story short i had a physical done and my total test came back at 333, im 35yrs old. so i have a apt with a URO thursday but my primary said he would just write a script for cream/gel and be good given my levels were so low.

now after reading all the info i could find it seems the gels suck versus IM injections which is what i want. So i filled out the medical form on Maximus website and have not recieved any follow up email telling me what to do next.
For you guys with Maximus how long did the process take ? is anything covered under your insurance like labs ?

Thanks very much!!
Justin

PM Chip or call and leave a msg, he responded to my PM fast, and the whole process is quick if you have all the paper work, ships over night, and no its not coverd under insur, at least in my case.
But he is a great guy and will answer all your questions.

About 5 years....

Haha

You'll hear back, shoot him a follow up email. He's got to get your stuff to his Dr etc but the turn around if approved is quick.

It is pretty quick, just be patient. You do not want gel. It converts to estrogen too much and is very unstable - ultimately any benefit you gain from it will be reversed from the estrogen stress due to the higher presence of aromatase on the skin. I tried the gel when I first started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with a loser doctor and it tore my hair line up immediately. Not to mention I felt good for 2 hours out of the day and then felt like crap the rest, and then when applying it a second time at night I couldn't sleep. Now I feel good all the time, and not like a menopausal woman like I did on gel.

HE IS EITHER A TROLL, GIVIN THE "1" POST OR HE HAS A COMPUTER FROM 1922. ANY ONE, AT ANY TIME, THAT SIMPLY FOLLOWS MY INSTRUCTIONS AND PROPERLY SUBMITS THE "CLAPPING MONKEY PROOFED" MEDICAL HISTORY QUESTIONNAIRE WILL IMMEDIATELY RECEIVE BACK AN AUTO RESPONSE PUT TOGETHER IN TERMS THAT THE SAME CLAPPING MONKEY COULD EASILY DIGEST AND UNDERSTAND. SOUNDS TO ME AS IF A COMPETITOR, AS IF THERE EVEN WERE ANY, IS TRYING TO SMEAR MY NAME.

YOU CAN FEEL MORE THAN FREE TO EMAIL ME DIRECT: chip@maximushrt.com

Well i wasted 2 hours last night at the urologist he basically told me my levels are within range (total test is 333 and free is 68) and everything is fine. he did give me a script for androgel and said he didnt even want to do that cause it might bring my levels to high and if thats the case he wont write another script.
i asked about injections cause i didnt want to use the gel and he said my levels arent low enough and its a once a month shot i asked about weekly and right way he went to the Anabolic side and said that 100mgs a week is a bodybuilders dose blah blah blah
why are the docs so crazy and anti helping people?

Chip, i am waiting for my info from my primary it should be here by begining of next week then you can tell me what you think!!

Thanks

Plain and simple most doctors do not use testosterone, so they don't know. They only know that the supposed half life of cypionate is somewhere from 5-12 days, which is bogus. Testosterone cypionate is a 4 day drug, period. Come day 5, you feel nothing like the previous 4 days, unless maybe of course if you are on HCG. I can't understand how a doc can say this having never tried testosterone himself. Everyone is different on top of that. 100mg a week is too low for me, though I don't use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) on a regular basis. If I did it would probably be fine. Pro bodybuilders are taking 2000-4000+ mg, or 20-40 times what your doc calls a bodybuilder dose in addition to all kinds of other steroids, growth hormone, and insulin. I am amazed at the total ignorance on this. They act like giving someone 125mg of testosterone every 5 days will turn them into a freak or something. My old doctor actually used testosterone on a regular basis after his "manpause" and his 40s and he said that testosterone is a 4 day drug and recommends my dosing protocol. I'm not just making this up...this is basic knowledge in the anti-aging community. The difference with Chip is you'll get a real protocol, not have your balls shrink into your abdomen, not grow breasts, and feel 10x better. High SHBG means a lot too, which I can guarantee your doctor doesn't know how to treat.

I believe you mean higher 5-alpha-reductase in the skin, no? I believe that is the case. It converts test to dihydrotestosterone, which appears to be more strongly associated with balding (as per your experience) as well.

Still getting the lay of the land, so thought I'd make sure I wasn't missing something.

As Chip says, they are ignorant...why? They have liability hence no reason to research since they won't research what they are liable for. Further, you didn't go to them with ammo to support your position and can tell from you posts that you need more education if you are going to be visiting that same doc.

Just go with Chip and all will be taken care of.
