methyldien oral solution recipe help

Hi all, does anyone know if you can use the everclear/bacardi method with dien or do I need to use a different approach?

I've recently been told to use 499ml of peg400 1gm of methyldien and heat it over low heat for 30min. Anyone know of what peg400 to use? I did a quick search and came back with different types. Thanks.
