i get really hungry, and suggestions on what to do, or what to eat? I know you should not eat any carbs 6hrs before you go to bed.

what are your current goals? and where did you ever hear that guideline of not to eat carbs 6 hours before bed. Im cutting right now, and If I train later in the day Ill eat carbs after a workout, being a couple-few hours before bed. its all about timing.

also, perhaps your not eating enough during the day, the reasoning for your body telling you it needs food at nite(ravenous appetite). fiberous veggies, lean protein and healthy fats an really fill you up!

Cottage cheese would be best suited cause its a slow digesting protien... That way your body will get a steady amount of protien even while your sleeping.. ANABOLIC! :D

Are you training in the evening? If so, you totally need to eat carbs after you train. I'm not sure where you heard not to eat carbs 6hrs before bed.
Are you using any whey protein shakes? Those are quick and easy to have any time. I like cottage cheese as well before bed. I always take some sort of EFA with it as well.(usually flax oil)
:)

Eat a can of tuna. Mix in some mayo/miracle whip for taste if need be. Very low carb/high protein.

If you're a human garbage disposal like me and want to grab a quick meal full of protein go get some thin slices of either ham or smoked turkey. I like to eat that before bed and then consume a protein shake as well. That's good food to eat if you're too lazy to prepare anything, oatmeal is always a good choice and it works for me

Peanut butter & jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread & a glass of tomatoe juice, w/ Tabassco sause. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

jelly?? bread? before BED? wheres the protein??? unless you are a hard gainer trying to pack on lean mass I wouldnt suggest that as a pre-bed meal.

Peanut butter & jelly

For me i can eat what i whant only because i dont show it after wards like some people what ever i eat i burn off during the week you might say iam one of the lucky ones i can tell ya this iam 220lbs solid and workout 4-5 days a week, i meet my protein intake way before bedtime, for me i like to keep my body guessing on whats next and not fallen into a same old routine, its what makes it interesting for me. Peanut butter and jelly is an occational bed time snack. It works for me.:D

when im at school, i usually train around 4-5. thanks for the tips guys. I think i am going to try the cottage cheese, or thin slices of ham and turkey. I can only eat tuna if its on da grill!

if it is late i drink a protein shake or eat some tuna
most of the time i skip the tuna g/f dont like the smell

try tunba with spicy mustard.......has nothing in way of carbs or fat but taste good and has protein....you could pretty much eat as much of that as you wanted

i remember about a year ago i was lifting and i went on a tuna, powerbar, and soy milk kick... for like a week thats all i ate (dont ask me why), but it all stopped when i came home from the gym on about day 6 and i reeked of tuna and my girlfriend (wife now) was like eeeeEEEHH!
