Minimum rest time between muscle groups

What would be the absolute minimum recovery time to leave before working them again, for example if I work my chest hard on a Monday is Friday too soon to train again, taking into account the juice and a good diet plan? At the moment I leave a week but I feel I could work it again by a friday

What does your weekly workouts look like right now?
Days performed-Body Part, Weight and sets/reps per exercise

I have seen ppl train Chest/Back and Bi's/Tri's 2 times a week (3 days apart from one another) and Legs- depending on how hard they are training them (1 day a week)... AB's everyday to every other day...Just from my observation of the Body builders at my gym...

Also IMO it depends on how sore you are feeling... IF your getting enough rest and your diet is good; your recovery time should be fairly quick... If you feel you can work that body part again, I would try it.

Me personally, I work all body parts twice except for my Legs (I run every other day).

I posted a thread called " advice on training routine" if u have a look there u will see my workout, I find my chest and triceps are the quickest at recovering compared to shoulders and back I always feel I could work my chest more although I don't want to grow out of proportion

I will review yout training routine :)

Ya...Shoulders and Legs are my body parts that take longer to recover.

Back/Chest and Bi's/Tri's recover quicker for me.

I personally feel isolation exercise once a week are good. then using compound movement exercises during other phases in the week for training.
Example is
mon I train chest bench, incline, pec fly, weighted dips.
Tuesday - back i do weighted pull ups deadlifts pulldowns and rows
so some big compound movement s on Tuesday that will also tax the chest from the previous day. and then Shoulders on Wed so they have already been worked pretty hard the previous two days.
