Let's look at the top 10.
#2 Nog..gets murdered by him...again.
#3 Mirko...it depends on which Mirko shows up. The night Mirko won the OWGP, I think he had his head in the right place and might have very well handed Fedor his first defeat had they fought. Ever since that night, Mirko has looked tentative and not himself.
#4.....The only guy I think that really has the tools to beat him right now is Josh Barnett. Josh is kind of a wild card. He has insane skill and funky body..just like Fedor. He fights like he hates you, but respects everybody he fights.
#5 is the other guy I think matches up well with Fedor. Randy Couture has the tools to give Fedor one hell of a fight. Can he beat Fedor....I don't know. I'm having a hard time seeing how his skills give him an edge in any way against the machine. But his skills match up well enough to make a fight worth paying to see!
#6 Gabriel Gonzaga...horse shit. No way is this guy #6. There are 3-4 guys ranked below him that will give him all he wants and likely take him. But let's look because he is ranked here. Gonzaga has solid standup (not great..he landed a once in a lifetime bomb against Mirko ..ala Kevin Randleman). His ground game is insane though. But Fedor completely neutralized the ground game of Nog and beat the living hell out of him...on the ground. So I think he gets murdered by Fedor.
#7..the most hated man in MMA...Tim Sylvia. I love the guy. He's a hell of a person and a great personality...but he comes off as a tool on tv. The people I have talked to that know him or have met him all say the same thing...he is humble (surprise), he is friendly, he is genuine (what you see is what you get), and he is a pleasure to be around. All of that is well and good, but it won't help him beat the machine. Tim's jab is one hell of a weapon. But Fedor slips jabs and throws people everyday. lol I don't know his reach, but Fedor looks like he has ape arms. When he throws punches, you would swear his reach is 90". lol He hits people from across the ring (but watch his lower body and you will see where he gets the extra reach and the extra power). Fedor is big enough to put Tim on his back and keep him there while he pounds his face. Tim has no chance in this matchup.
#8 As much as I like Double A, I think his hand speed keeps him ahead on points until Fedor ties him up and hip tosses him onto his head..then lands on top and pummels him. Fedor's sambo makes Double A's look like white belt bjj.

#9 Werdum....not a prayer in hell. He has a ground game to rival Nog...but Nog beat the hell out of him on their feet. What do you think Fedor would do.....murder. Biggest mismatch in the top ten.
#10 Aleks. Not a prayer in hell. Big brother (older/smaller brother) owns him in every aspect of the game...except in jailhouse tats.
