when it comes to protein, i get unbelivably confused, thers so many different kind, and everybody has their own personal opinion..

so im goign to give you my loose goal, and maybe some of yall might have a different suggestion

I usually take a double school of musle milk 3 times a day bruch Prework out, post work out

im 235-240, and spend the past few months getting off 20lbs. so naturally im kinda scared of sups i put in my body..
back in college, i was drinking n'large like it was nothing, for the protien/calories/ect. to gain weight, and it worked

now its the opposite, i have the weight i want to 'stay at' and just completly maximize potential strength/physique. im on a pretty 'good' clean diet...green beans, chicken breast, tuna,

but when it comes to supplments im ready not sure if im taking the 'right thing'

i only chose muslce milk for the taste. any other suggestions...

i just started a new cycle of 500mgs of test E as if that really matters in this..

thanks for the potential help

MuscleMilk is fine. It tastes good, but you have to account for those extra calories from fat and carbs that pure protein powders dont have. If you need those extra calories, great. If not, muscle milk wouldnt be your best choice. At 240 pounds, and with the desire to maintain that weight, you probably need the extra calories.

Optimal use of protein powders is Whey concentrate or Isolate pre/during workout, a blended protein or Milk Protein Isolate all other times of the day. MM would fall under the "blended" category.

I get all mine from the link in my sig, which compared to muscle milk, would save you a boatload. The 5% discount would save you even more.

As far as BBing supplements go, besides protein powder and creatine, theres none really worth mentioning or worrying about.

When it comes to protein, i've tried just about all of them with similar results. It all comes down to price, taste, and stomach comfort (lack of gas). i buy some 25lb blend of whey isolate and concentrate for like $130-140...i always forget what it costs cause I don't have to buy it every other week.

yeh...the stuff i use has like 1g carb per 25g protein...so pretty much pure protein.

i use water...taste is fine, goes down pretty easy. Even my girlfriend likes the taste...lol. Let me look for the link, i've posted it somewhere on this site.

damn, this is about 100 pure litle fat calories ect. and that just one scoop

so smart thing is o maybe muscle milk pre/post work out, and use this product throughouthe day for the other shakes
