My 3J's Nutrition Network Experience

Ya i just joins his modified carb program. I'm trying to cut up before my next cycle. But anyway keep up with the good work.
 
Thanks diggydev and bigherm2121 both your comments are very encouraging. bigherm2121 I'm sure you'll get the results your after with 3J You'll be very surprised with the service especially the nutritional coaching. I've extended my coaching for another 5 weeks. Good Luck. Keep us posted with your progress.
 
Starting Creatine

Decided to start creatine monohydrate today. After reading so many positive threads on ology I suggested it to 3J. He said I can take it but just to be aware that I will bloat a little and it wont be fat.

Will load up on it at about 21grams per day for a week.

Took 7grams before my workout today. Was very strong, 3J said that I will continue to get stronger while on it. Took another 7g after workout and will take a further 7g before bed. Feeling a little more tired than usual think creatine may have helped push just a little bit harder than usual.

Will be interesting to see what strength and weight gain will follow. Will keep you posted.

Don't bother with loading. Just take the maintenance dose (5g/day usually). Creatine will build up in your system either way and following the maintenance dose and saves you some money.
 
Creatine progress

On day 2 of creatine, very surprised with strength increases. On heavy sets was able to add 1 rep, on lighter sets was able to ad 3-4 reps. Very significant since my training is high intensity low volume. In terms of weight gain weight is up 0.4lbs since yesterday. 3J says strength gains will continue and Its probably not just the creatine but its helping for sure, will be interesting.

Weight fluctuation

Weight has been fluctuating like crazy the last week because there's been a lot going on ie arimidex has kicked in ie less bloat, stopped intake of gallons of diet coke (that was crazy lol) ie dehydration and caffeine withdrawal has now subsided along with the bloat caused by that.
Now we've added creatine to the mix lol, oh dear poor 3J not making it easy for him am I. Anyhow today weight has again hit 162.6 which is my max so far.

Will be interesting to see what happens from here on.
 
Weight is up slightly 0.2lbs this morning to 162.8 3J says lean bulking is a constant progression but its slow. Our current goal is to get to 170 and we're looking at about 6 weeks to get there. We're on track at the moment but we'll be looking to increase calories soon. Fun times ahead :)
 
Minor Setback

It's happened again unfortunately. My cardio has increased from 20 mins per day to 1 hour 45mins Its slowly happened since we increased from 3400 to 3600 calories. If I had normal energy levels we'd just up my intake but unfortunately this much cardio plus my gym sessions is exhausting me. I'm having to sleep all day just to function. I felt like I let 3J down.

3j's response was Its ok, your going to go through this.. your going to slip.. we all do..
He told me to remember what my bf % was when I got tested?? it was ridiculously low.. what makes me think I need that much cardio??

He said he's been so careful with me that I've been bulking and leaning out.. His final words were "fight the urge.... trust in your nutritionist.. trust in the diet.. trust in yourself...

So its back to 20mins cardio per day and 3600 calories, game on.

I know it's difficult for some of you to comprehend why i'm like this, unfortunately anorexia is a terrible illness that takes along time to let go. I'm left with the habits that built up over the years. I really still can't tell how I look like aesthetically when I look into the mirror so unfortunately I need alot of reassurance from 3J to keep going.

Brother don't sweat it. We all have our personal demons to battle. Anorexia is one of yours and a lifelong disease. Stick with the 3J I've heard nothing but good things and recently took up with him myself! And, if you need to, post pics here as you progress for honest feedback. After all what would some random voices on the internet have to gain by feeding you a line? Nothing.

Keep it up man, you are gaining and looking way better. I wish I had your vascularity but that comes from being lean. My wife was anorexic for a long time too. She's since gotten over that but its hard for her to grasp all the food she has to eat. She's eating a lot more than usual and still losing weight.

I too started with 3j about a month ago, carb cycling. Its tough but 3j is TOP NOTCH and works with me and my wife. I will post my own thread later.

Keep the log going and I'm sure everyone will chime in as you are doing great.

Hey Smashed, thanks for the positive feedback buddy. I'm glad your wife is over it as it's a terrible illness that not only affects the person but as you know their partner, family and friends as a whole. Yeah the amount of food is mind boggling especially compared to not eating much at all lol, oh well we can laugh about it now.

It's great you signed up with 3J I must admit at first I didn't think he'd be able to help me on this level but I'm just amazed with his knowledge and expertise. I'm sure you'll both achieve your desired goals with his help.

I'll certainly keep the log going, looking forward to reading your log soon too..

Weight is up nicely from 162.7 yesterday to 165 today. Will be interesting to see what happens without the cardio.
