My First Cycle... NPP and Test Prop. Help Please?

The lab report suggested my dhea levels are "low". Should I worry about that?

HCG should fix that for you. Also make sure that you're getting plenty of healthy fats in your diet. As cholesterol is what the body uses to make DHEA and the HCG would provide the signal to start converting it - the only possible hurdle beyond that would be an adrenal problem, converting the majority to cortisol. A simple 24 hour cortisol test can rule that out.

Oh, and if you're not on vitamin D3, it's a good idea to supplement with it.

Looks like you are in good hands, DM. :-)

Also, some would think you've got the "Dream TRT doc" for allowing you to run at such a high T level! Sounds like the doc is doing bloods, has your E2 in check, you are controlling hematocrit with donations, and are monitoring other important levels. Fine tune. At those levels you should be feeling pretty darn good and making body composition gains just as you are. (Compared to pre-TRT levels anyway)

The problem with this stuff is once you feel good, you want to feel GREAT! I'm there, right with ya. Be a little patient. Take advantage of the awesome numbers you already have! Fine tune. Research, read, start gathering gear for later. But much later :-)

so tomorrow I will be at the 3 week stage in my cycle. (10 weeks planned due to frequent bw). I haven't noticed any gains in size yet. I have noticed a gain in strength and muscular endurance. I've also noticed a big gain in my eagerness to get in the gym and workout. when should i start seeing some size gains? I honestly eat as often as possible... salmon, tuna, pasta, whole milk, eggs, rice, nuts/granola, potatoes, some veggies, shakes, and some supps.

what kind of dosages of NPP and test P are you running ?
If your in the 500mg+ per week range of each then I'd imagine you'll start seeing size gains around week 6.. but you say your eating as "often" as possible, often is different then "as much" as possible . you need to be in a hyper-caloric state in order to give your body the raw materials to put on size.

3 weeks is not much time even with short esters,, nandro is a slow steady bulker

NPP 600 wk.
and yeah, as often and as much as I can handle. does it benefit me that i didn't take in a lot of calories previous to my cycle?

if you were in a calorie deficit prior to this cycle and are now bulking ,, then your body should be in an anabolic 'primed' state and ready for growth. but again 3 weeks is a pretty short time. at this stage you should be putting on a little bit of water and glycogen storage in the muscle (a good thing , which you'll notice in fullness as well as added strength in the gym),, but real growth is going to take a bit longer

ok perfect. thanks.

continuing a hyper caloric diet post cycle will definitely help you keep and maintain gains.. also depending on how much mass you put on , your TDEE is probably going to go up as well and your new calorie intake baseline is going to be higher then when you began your cycle to begin with .

example: you started massing at 200 pounds with a TDEE of 2900 calories (baseline).. you finished your cycle and massed to 225 pounds . your new TDEE may now be 3300 calories (you new baseline , and though this is 400 calories above your initial baseline , its no longer 'additional' calories, its your new minimum .. you would have to go to 3700 calories to be in a surplus now).

so you may not only want to just maintain the higher calorie diet your on now , you may want to slightly up your calories post cycle (again , cause you new calorie minimum is now much higher due to the additional body mass acquired).

of course if you gaining unwanted amounts of body fat,, then you may need to adjust . A benefit you have going for you is that you are on TRT , and when you cycle is complete you will still be taking exogenous test, which is definitely beneficial in maintaining gains . so between that and staying hyper caloric post cycle, you should do well maintaing gains.
