Mini Rocky
So this may be a bit of a read, and to some confusing. Back last year during the summer I decided to bulk up, which I did the whole calculations for the TDEE with activity level. Well it put me at 2700 calories for a lb a week, which I shot into full force like a dumbass and gained some weight. Few weeks later I lowered it down to 2000 calories, which I was steadily gaining .5lb which i what I wanted. Over time I kept gaining steadily, then out of no where I started gaining over 1+ lb still at same calories. I was freaking out, until someone said eat at 3000 calories and see what happens. Which I did for a few weeks, surprisingly I was back to gaining .5lbs a week or less.
Now it was time to cut, which I wanted to keep my muscle mass so i tried keto. Since I was bulking technically at 3k calories, gaining .5 lbs a week, I started my cut at 2200 calories. Worked perfect for the first month and half, till I learned that I should implemented carb ups. I started doing carb ups, every 2 weeks. Which in the end my weight loss stopped from that point on. Before the carb up I was at a certain weight, then implemented carb ups every 2 weeks and never saw that number again. I was always a lb or 2 heavier then where I should have been in the process of cutting. So even though I was cutting at 2200 calories and losing a lb or more a week, it seems I started gaining weight now at 2200 calories. So I thought id raise up my calorie intake a bit, like I did when I was bulking to see if it'd fix my stuff. Raised up by 200 calories, eating 2400 calories daily now. Didn't necessarily work, I still saw an increase of weight each week.
Now I have left keto 3 weeks ago, and I know I'll be heavier anyways since water weight. But now im back down to eating 2200 calories, some days even 2000 calories hoping for that deficit. But it seems each week I'm still raising up in weight. I don't understand why im gaining weight, when im suppose to be in a deficit. I've even raised my cardio intensity the past month, so technically I should be able to eat more and still be at the same deficit. Also have been on ECA stack since January, but I was only doing 50mg each day of Ep, starting this month I started doing 75mg the regular dose. Also I told a friend of my problem and she gave me a few things that she had extra for free. She gave me a bottle of CLA, ALA, and Green Tea. Which before I took of course looked up, and there suppose to help not store fat. So I've been taking a few pills of CLA, ALA, and Green Tea since the beginning of this month, nothing from that either :/
Though I've asked a friend, and she says that I'm looking a tad more muscular. Which unless its noob gains all over again, I shouldnt be gaining muscle mass when im suppose to be in a deficit. Yes I am calculating every thing correctly, I'm very accurate and anal on calorie/macro counting and weighing. Any tips, I know this was a very long read.
