One inch needle is fine unless you have A LOT of fat where you are injecting.

Your dose is low, the anxiety goes away after the first week if you ride it out, blood testing is eventual in the first few months. 150mg a week is a good start
Dave,
At least one guy is pinning 250mg every week and another is doing 200mg per week ...so yes, plenty of guys are doing 150mg per week and more.
If your test mixture is the common 200mg per mL then I think you mean you did .15mL e3days which
200 x .15 = 30mg = 70mg per week
and then you took .25mL e5days last week that still averages 10mg per day but you got a bigger injection and felt better the first two days after you injected the .25mL.
Seems like you might need a bit more test...why not try .25mL every 3.5 days, which would equal 100 per week or even try .30mL every 3.5 days, which would equal 120mg per week and see how you feel.
150 ml a week would be 600 ml p.m. Holy Smoke - is that a fairly common dose?
thx
Unka
Just talk about how many milligrams of test you are taking per week. That is a whole lot easier to follow than talking about it in terms of volume.
I - the Dr. Pharmiscist and Nurse can't seem to convert the info on the one ml syringe.
The 1 Ml Syringe is dvided into sections of 10. So I am now taking
.25Ml e3d -[instead of .15Ml e3d] which converts to - - - - -
.5Ml, or - - -1/2 the one Ml syringe e6days
Which is .505 e7days.
Times 4 which = 2.20 Ml in a month. ....??
If this is wrong please give me the conversion formula. I am sorry to bring this info to you in an improper format. I know it's irritating to those in the know.
Maybe I was under doseing due to bad math before?
Dave, I am on 150mg prescribed. My urologist started me on 200mg every two weeks which was a "rollercoaster on steroids," if you will. Then 200mg every 10 days. Better but still too much fluctuation. The 150mg per week seems perfect. I do not detect any real boom or bust between injection. No Aromatase inhibitor (AI), HCG or anything else. Doing real well on that dose and schedule. By the way you got 4 years on me.
Good luck.
I was doing about 1 vial e wk and 1/2
Yes - I think you are right as this dosage [.25 e3d?] [or as I look at my one Ml Syringe divided into 10 sections - I figure .5 per day -so it was 1.5 every 3d then just went to 2.5 e3day] has got me able to keep my HR around 140 for 40 min [I'm almost 61] on the ski machine - getting back to lifting and then feeling like I WANT to go out and set a [personal] World Record on my two mile run/walk. That's a lot better than just going thru the motions. But that is 5.0 every 6d (I think the Dr said CC"s are applicable to the 1 Ml syringe's 10 sections. So that puts me at almost 600 per. mo. Correct? Naw that can't be right. And is this a test therapy dose?? My test results as of June 10-13 were
Henatocrit................. 48% - - - 42-52 acceptable
Testosterone, Total and Free
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin......36nmo/l - - - 11-88 acceptable
Testosterone, Total ................... 430 ng/dl - - - 300-700 acceptable
Free Testosterone.................. 90.3 pg/dl - - 47-244 acceptable
Testosterone, % Free................ 2.1% - - - - - 1.6 - 2.9 acceptable
Albumin................................... 3.7 g/dl- - - - 3.5 - 5.0 acceptable
PSA 2.21 ng/ml Normal but up from - - - 1.7, - - 4 mo ago.

Okay, first off testosterone is categorized by it's concentration per volume. The most commonly seen concentration in the US would be 200mg/mL, which in your case of .505mL E7D would be about 100mg/wk. I don't know why your doctor is having you do this with insulin syringes as they are measured in IU's or International Units which correspond to how insulin is measured. Many men can and do inject with insulin syringes, but unless you're comfortable with backloading them (removing the plunger and using another syringe to fill it), it's a hassle.
I recommend you pick up 3mL syringes with a 25g 1" needle and 18-21g needles separately. You would use the 18-21g needle to draw up the testosterone from the vial and then replace it with the 25g needle to inject. 3mL barrels will be clearly marked and make it much easier to identify how much you are drawing/injecting. If your script is for 100mg/wk, you just draw up .25mL E3D and inject (or .5mL E7D whichever you prefer).
Hope this helps.![]()
I've said this on the first page posts. I am in early 60's. But I was the State champion in the 100 and 200 and beat the Japanese national champion in wrestling. I say this because I have been lifting and doing cardio to this day. I felt something was up when I wasn't able to recover from w/o's and w/o's actually hurt. I started test about one year ago. I'm one of those people who need to work out for a feeling of balance - even at my age. This blood work was done June 2013, correct?
You were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for this test? you still on TRT?
how old are you?
how long have you been on TRT?
b.t.w. who made the "acceptable" approval beside each blood test? you or the doc?
Just want to see.
I'm kind of bummed."Testosterone is a controlled substance, We want you to stay on .25Ml e5d instead of e3d. Or every 4d. "You are probably just getting high

I use a 1 inch needle on a one Ml Syringe because the 2 Ml at 1-1/2" needle is to imprecise for a .25Ml e3d dose. It is to hard pulling .25 Ml inaccurately [out of a 2Ml syringe] then trying to put .03 back in the vial. I'm not on an insulin Syringe needle depth wise.
They sent the test out to be done by a lab. I have no idea who came up with the norms. Don't really care to get into that minutia.
I had a distressing call back from the DR's Nurse. Not the Dr. who started me out on the test originally."
When I told her I really noticed an improvement in my vitality and ability to get a good workout - - - She replied

One half of a 1Ml syringe would = 50% of a 1Ml syringe. Or 50Ml e3d - That would be a hella lot of drug.
