I know Nandi really didn't post here but no doubt many of you that have been around for a while have heard of Nandi, spoke with him at one time or even better, read some of his articles. Nandi (in my opinion) was by far and above the most brilliant person when it came to anabolocs and unfortunately passed away this past Thursday from a heart attack.
RIP Nandi - you will be missed my friend.

Here is an e-mail to his friends from his wife:

Dear Friends

I know Karl/Nandi did not mean to leave us in such a hurry. It was
totally unplanned, yet I hope painless. Karl died of a heart attack in
the early hours of Thursday morning. I was away visiting my mother.
When I returned I found him cold and blue many hours dead. He had been
listening to some peaceful music, having a glass of wine, and eating a
sandwhich. It appears it was quick and painless.

He is a great loss to me, and I am sure to many of you as well, as he
considered you friends and loved to write for you and answer any
questions you may of had. You gave him real meaning to his life, and I
thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If there is some article, or writing, that you may have been expecting
from him, I can try to find it in his archives, but I cannot promise to
be successful. I am not medically trained and my expertise lies
elsewhere. I am sorry I will not be able to fill his place.

Karl/Nandi is going to be cremated, placed in a cast bronze urn with
birds on it, and I am going to keep him with me. There will be no funeral.

We have only our cats and bird. Karl was especially attached to the
bird.We lived alone in our own special place. It is very empty now.

If there are others who need to know this information, please pass it
on. I never read his emails or monitored the sites he visited. Perhaps
some of you will know how to let his following know in a kind and loving
manner, as that is how Karl was.

I miss him very much.

Elaine

This is really shitty news for the online community with the loss of a very solid and reputable bro. The email from his wife is pretty sad and touching. RIP Nandi

Wow, that's sad, one of the most knowledgeable bros ive come across on these boards. RIP

How old was he?

50 Years young.

mranak - Bodybuilder I guess more than anything. He wasn't known for his physique as he never posted pictures as he was know for his mind. I consider him the Albert einstein of bodybuilding...

Nandi had a rare degenerative disease that probably caused his heart attack.

He was a great friend and mentor, I considered him to be the single greatest resource on the net. He will be missed.

One of the guys that advised me on my first cycle when I just started in on this game. Big loss for us all.

didnt know him, but its always sad to see one of our brothers go like that...all of us are connected together from our goals and passion in the gym....R.I.P. bro

Nandi was 50 years old, he learned awhile ago that he had a non curable autoimmune disease (dermatomyositis) which is implicated in deaths due to cardiopulmonary complications.
IMO Nandi was the brighest mind on these boards. Much of what Nandi knew was learned through research and self study. He was working as a real estate investor at the time of his death. Previously he had instructed physics at Boston University for a number of years. I can never thank him enough for all the knowledge that I have gained through him.
