Natural gains post cycle

For the experienced guys just wondering if it is possible to still gain once you come off a cycle?

Obviously you lose water weight and some strength once the compound(s) leave your system, but after post cycle therapy (pct) assuming everything returns to normal, has anyone been able to make decent progress? Or is it all about maintaining until the next cycle?

with proper diet and rest you can still gain off cycle
 
If you can't make gains off and you are have normal levels you are a b1tch... eat, train, and rest and gains will be made.

Really? Then what's the point of taking AAS in the first place, if you can gain without it.

You can only get to a certain point without AAS. With AAS you get past that natural gain point. I just don't see how you can naturally keep gaining when you're past your natural point in the first place.

Unless you have some advantage with genetics, but then you wouldn't need AAS if that would be the case.

I'd have to disagree with you. If your body sets a limit, genetically, you can train as hard and eat as much, and rest as much....you can't get past your genetics.
 
Maybe if you've done a single cycle but doing several cycles and weighing 40lbs above your natural body weight it's hard enough to maintain let alone make gains naturally. Just my honest opinion.
 
I think it depends on whether you've pushed yourself beyond your natural genetic limits. If you've used gear to exceed your genetic limits, then by definition you will not grow when off cycle. If that is a picture of you in your avatar then you have plenty of growing to do and probably aren't anywhere near your genetic limit. Therefore, you are capable of growing when off cycle once your test levels rebound to normal.
 
ive worked out for 17 yrs, have done 3 cycle in the last 10 yrs and am expecting to go back to the same old me post cycle

i go so long without the hormones, my body tends to maintain around a certain weight.
of course, i could diet and get back to being as strong when i could eat, sleep, and breathe working out/diet like i did in college
just not the time there with 3 kids and a wife

i think it all comes down to hormone levels(aside from diet), either natural or artifical ones
if you avg a higher level of hormones over a period of time, then your more likely to be bigger
 
Like some above said....I believe you can make gains after your post cycle therapy (pct) and if your levels have come back to normal only if you havnt passed your maximum genetic limit which includes proper training eating and rest. Once you exceed your natty limit with aas then just trying to keep what you have gained will be a challenge in itself.

agreed Cobra,ive done 2 previouscycles of test cyp only and made good gains,but since then im stuck at the sam weight and muscle gained,been at 270-275 for a good long while now and have corrected my diet and everything,ive reached my genetic potential naturally,so im going to aas now to help me out,but im 44 to,so that makes a difference in my case
