Been on trt for almost a year now. im feeling like im finally starting to get dialed in. For the past year I have been injecting twice a week only in my glutes. although i have been rotating left and right glute with every injection, i believe that a bit of scar tissue is starting to develop. the main reason why i have been doing only glutes, is because i dont really know how to inject in other spots properly. i want to start rotating the quads into the mix, but i need some input from you guys. first off, could someone please send me a good link on how and where to properly inject in the quads? second, i use 25 gauge needles at 1 1/2" for the glutes. is 25 gauge okay for quads too, and is it better to use 1" or 1 1/2"?

thanks!

also, does anyone here think that injecting testosterone into scar tissue, which i believe is exactly what i did today, will affect the rate of absorption of the test?

Have you checked out the site www.spotinjections.com ? There is some detailed information under "thigh"
I personally find 1" to be plenty long, but it partly depends on how much of a fat layer there is. I think either 1" or 1.5" will work fine.

The presence of scar tissue shouldn't measureably affect the rate of absorption.

thank you...that website is helpful. i wish they would tell you what size needles work best though. i had no idea you could pin in all of those different areas! pecs? tris? damn!!!!!!

I tried pecs once. Wasn't terrible, but kind of intimidating and not nearly as comfortable as quads. Psychologically feels like you're stabbing yourself in the heart.
I'm warming up to the ventro-glutes, will do my sixth vg shot tomorrow.

what's the max amount of CC's you've injected in quads...i've read mixed opinions on this; usually varies between 3-5

if you have virgin quads don't go as high as 3, maybe half or stretch it to 2mls. I tried 3 first time and my lymph nodes swelled all up by the knees, wasn't a pretty sight or feeling so my advice is to start lowish and work up from there

I wish I knew the same thing. Lol where is the most minimally invasive and or painless area? I haven't tried to inject steroids. Let alone even find them yet. But I think I'm gonna try them soon. After three years at the gym and seemingly getting nowhere I want to try them... I just don't like needles

How can u tell if you developed scar tissue? And I've often wondered that myself if injecting into scar tissue affects absorption. I've been told both ways so idk who to believe

i'll separate my quads into 3 areas and rotate all of them, I squeeze the muscle together with my one hand and inj with the other, no pain at all, if I don't squeeze it hurts much more

So...according to spotinjections.com there are three or four different areas for quads alone. Is the middle quad area the best for beginners? Again, all I have ever done is glutes, so please pardon my ignorance. Also, is 1" better than 1 1/2" for glutes? Mprtz thinks so, but I would like to get a few others' opinion as well. Thanks
Also, would it be wise to lay off injecting in the glutes for a while since scar tissue is beginning to form? How long can scar tissue last, and is there a way to lessen it or make it go away, or will it ever go away on its own?

Will: the spots you should be using are the outer parts of the quads and delts.

For quads you want to pin in the space that is above one hand length from your knee and below one hand length from the crease for the top of your leg. There should be an area of about 4 inches or so. And pin to the outside of the quad as shown in the Spot Injection pictures.

Delts are my favorite spot of them all. Goes in so easily. But you do have to I ject one handed there.

One I inch needles are fine for both spots. Although I try not to push it in more than 3/4 inches in the delt.

You definitely need to be rotating spots since you will be doing this the rest of your life.

Daniel from IMT says massage and using a massage stick or roller can help break it up.

If were me, I would still keep glutes in my rotation of delts, quads and glutes.

I've been injecting 2w for 6 months now, and I've been injecting exclusively in the side of my quads. I use 25g 5/8" needles. But I have almost zero fat on my legs. Started out with 1 1/2" needles, and it freaked me out because the needles bent when injecting. About every other injection, I get a drop of blood. The other times none at all. Overall, pretty painless.

I'd give delts a shot as well, make delts, quads, glutes your three main spots giving a total of 6 meaning each spot get hits once every 3 weeks.

Delts IME are just great, goes in smooth, very rarely hit a nerve/enter a vein (in about 50 injections I've drawn blood once), it literally does not hurt at all and I personally don't find it awkward to do with one hand.

Quads on the other hand I have just started doing them, It usually takes me 3 shots to get it in because without fail I will hit a nerve, my leg tenses up which I think makes it harder to push the oil in, it's painful like shit even when it's in and injecting and I sweat bullets. I might just be one of those people that quads don;t agree with me, I envy people who love them the same way I love pinning delts lol.

I literally look as pinning my delts as a reward now to put it into perspective.

Glutes are next on the list.

Are you pinning the top of the quads or are you staying to the outside? They should not be this problematic.

Totally agree with you on delts though.

only problem with frequent IM pinning is scar tissue....
it slows down absorption after a while and needle gets harder to stick in there...

I've tried a few different spots on the qauds, believe it or not it my best and first qaud injection I did a little to close to the knee (4 inches from top of knee cap) and it went smooth/no nerves knicked. Otherwise I have been using the upper outer area (like shown on spot injections, the area in between one hand length above the knee and below the hip) on the outer area and always hit a fucking nerve it literally drills. I never draw blood though, and without sounding like a bitch is it very painful when I push the needle in (and I'm talking 25G 1") and even feel pain a little whilst it is fully in and injecting. My problem though is not so much the pain, it's the thought of the pin hitting a nerve and my leg kicking up or tensing up and the needle bending or snapping in there or ending up in a vein. I've just got to keep playing around with the spots and try find an area that isn't so vascular on my quads.

I did delts again today, loved every second of it, like a knife through warm butter lol. I won't be using delts until I get going with injecting the glutes.

I agree, after pinning delts so often before I started doing quads, I noticed the needle can be felt piercing through the muscle, not really uncomfortable you are just aware of it.

SubQ is always an option when I get sick of doing IM or scar tissue eventually becomes a problem. Even then, I would consider test undecanote (nebido) as I get older just for convenince sake but maybe every 2-3 weeks or so to keep levels stable, not 12, fuck that.
