Need help with injecting in the quads...

Brother..remember your body may respond better to different methods of inserting the pin tip. Meaning instead jamming in quickly, some people (like me) respond better to a slow steady pushy while pinching and releasing the quad. Remember virgin muscle will always be painful the first few times. It doesn't mean you did anything wrong. I like MegaTron28 advice about the delt..3/4, also with quad I go about 90% with tip and hold with other hand to keep steady while injecting.
If you're already going slow and steady, maybe try pinch the meat and a quick thrust.

I find delts are definitely the best and least painful. If you're injecting a few times a week and have 1 delt, 2 quads, and a glute to rotate between. You'll be much happier.

I do the slow steady push too. Don't feel anything once it gets past the skin. And this method allows you to tap around with the point of the needle until you find a numb spot where there are no nerves. It also allows you to stop and adjust or ack out if you hit a blood vessel going in.

Injected 90mgs into left delt today. When I first tried to inject into the muscle, my delt muscle actually spasmed or twitched to the point where I immediately had to pull it out. Has this ever happened to anyone on here before? Also, while I injected succesfully the second go-around, I did notice a bit of cyp oil on the outside of my delt, seems like maybe not all of the oil got in yhere correctly. Thoughts?

It happens. Leave the pin in for a little bit after pushing the oil out. Then take a sterile pad and compress area as soon as u pull the pin out.

Never had that problem myself.

It is normal to have some of the oil stream out a bit. No big deal. Do the z-track method if it bothers you.

Spasms occurring when injecting is common, I've had it once or twice in my shoulder, I get it a lot in my quads though (real pain in the ass and having tight quads/hammies may play a part I think).

And yes the amount of oil that comes out is less than it seems, next time you inject try squeeze out that last little bit that is always left in the syringe onto something, a window for example and let it trickle down and you'll see it looks like more than it really is. Don't stress about it.
