need help

i cant seem to get a good pump in chest when i do chest workouts, im doin flat bench with barbell one day and incline dumbels then vice versa the next chest day and variouse other exercises but cant get that pump i do with other body parts, could enyone help, my sets r ussualy 10,8,6,4 or 10,10,8,6,4 on bench and then 3 or 4 sets on other exercises of 10 or 8.
 
i like it, makes me feel like im workin it real hard, i mean im killing my chest but my chest dosent feel worked afterwards if that makes sence
 
A pump is irrelevant in most cases, as long as you workout properly and do the right things, you will see results without pumps. I rarely get pumps and i pack on size nicely
 
A pump is not necessary for growth, but I do believe that it is valuable in a motivating sense. Leaving the gym looking bigger than when I walked in makes me feel like I have accomplished something. For chest I tend to get my best pump from dips--super slow form ( one second down--5 to 10 seconds up)
 
For a wasteful tidbit, I get hella pumps in my chest, better than any other bodypart, but it grows less than any of the others.
 
It depends on what you want on the other hand, as most BB'ers do go for a pump since they believe it stretches the fascia more for more growth, as whereas PLers go for strength and low reps.
I see guys at the gym chasing their pumps, and end up doing waaaaay too much for the bodypart, and end up overtraining.....so id personally reccommend you to get out of chasing the pump, and do a streneous workout and leave even if you feel like u can do more....just up the weights next time in the gym!
