Need some advice regarding cycle!

Hello everyone!

I am 23 year old male. I've been lifting for past 2.5 years. I've put on good amount of muscle but with little mass. I have had hard time gaining mass though I eat alot. From past few months I was feeling the symptoms of Low testosterone like fatigue, lethargy and make beard is also very thin and undeveloped. I was just curious and visited an endocrinologist. He asked me to get LH, FSH, Thyroid Profile and testosterone tested. I got the results and took them to the endo, he looked at them and said that all my hormones are normal except my testosterone which is slightly low for my age. The testosterone level was 502 ng/dl. He prescribed me testoviron depot injections 250 mg ew for 2 weeks and asked me to call him after 2 weeks. Now when i called him after 2nd injection and told him that i dont feel any big change, he asked me to get one more injection and visit me.

My concern is if i turn this into a proper cycle for putting mass, like do 500 mg ew instead of 250 for 12 weeks. And then the pct after 2 weeks break. Would that be a good decision? Because i really want to make the most of it and put on some mass!

*bump* I am looking for some quick responses as i'm into second week of 250 mg ew so far...so with some quick responses i can decide in time... Thanks....

Hey man this all in all sounds like a bad decision. For one, I can't believe that your doctor would put you on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with a total test level of 502. Thats not very low. And 250mg a week is definitely a high dose for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). That will likely put your levels well over 1000. I suggest you post this in the testosterone replacement section to get more advice there. I highly recommend that you do not try to turn this into a cycle.

What if i just keep doing the 250 mg for 12 weeks ? Because if test e is going to shut you down...then it would happen in 3 weeks, which i am already done....And i am following the doctor's advice....So test e at 250 mg a week shouldn't hurt me for 12 weeks ? and can i expect to see some gains on it ?

Need some advice (urgent) !

Ok, I'm no expert, but here's my 2 cents:

I'm surprised that you were given testosterone injections with a 500 total T level - it's not much outside of what would be considered normal for your age. Were you having any other symptoms, like reduced libido?

That said, 2 weeks isn't very long for injections to start having a noticeable effect for some people. Also, you need to be running an aromotase inhibitor alongside, or you risk having elevated E2 levels reduce the effectiveness of the testosterone - if indeed that is what is causing your symptoms.

In terms of deciding to go on a cycle being a "good" decision, I'd say that personally, I'd be more inclined to get myself back to normal first by addressing whatever is causing your symptoms before you start going messing around with too many other variables. When you're back on the straight and narrow, and feeling on top of your game, you'll be in a better position to make that choice then.

I would not do testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if my natty was 500 like you. That's pretty much in the normal range for your age. Keep in mind, your TT has probably not even peaked yet.

I am confused. You said you have added a good amount of muscle but not mass. Can you help me understand the difference between the two? By mass do you mean muscle and fat perhaps? Just confused because generally most guys prefer to only add muscle mass.

I know I don't have hypgonadism or I need to be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I'm now doing it as a bodybuilding cycle @ 250mg ew for 12 weeks. Will do pct after the cycle.

Why are you posting in the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) section then? Go to the AAS section where you can be ridiculed for considering a joke of a cycle. :-)

I posted there too. Anyways, still double minded if i should up the dose at 500 mg ew? Any advices? This is my first ever cycle! The only thing im concerned about is to see how my body reacts to test.....just that....otherwise i don't have any problem in uppin the dose to 500 ew.....any advices?

I'm really surprised you got a doc to prescribe you testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with those levels. I'd have killed a bitch to have 500ng/dL total testosterone levels naturally, and you're going to mess it all up. Cycling now will only mess things up with your doc, so you need to make a decision:

1. Keep with the therapy and see what happens.

2. Drop that doc like a bad habit and start reading in the AAS section. 23 and put on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with a decent endogenous test level...sheesh!

Remember, the choices you make now will likely have an impact on your body for the rest of your life. If you choose to continue with this haphazard protocol that likely isn't going to give you the results you're looking for, you will very likely be forced into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the rest of your life.

This isn't something you should take lightly.

My .02c ;)

I will not stay on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for sure. I've decided to turn it into a bodybuilding cycle and do the PCT afterwards. Just want to decide between 500 mg ew or 250 mg ew.....If 250 mg is going to shut me down...then why not do 500 ? What do you say ? For 12 weeks....and after 2 weeks break...do this PCT :

40mg of nolva and 100mg of clomid per day for 2 weeks, then 20mg of nolva and 50mg of clomid per day for 2 weeks.

Is that okay ?

I say you ask this in a forum not dedicated to medical treatment of hypogonadism. ;) The AAS section will have the answers you seek. :)

If you "decided" to turn this into a bodybuilding cycle, then stop posting on the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forums!!!!!!!!!!!!
